Story
Charlie is needing to find his forever home late in his years as his owner needed to go into memory Care. Charlie has an extremely happy disposition. He loves everyone he meets, his tail does not stop wagging. He is barkless, doesn't make a sound so you will need to be vigilant and letting him outside as he may not tell you other than running to the door. He is used to a senior caregiver and enjoys just sitting next to his person in a chair and snuggling in the bed at night. He is used to being walked outside with his harness to use the bathroom four to five times a day. He is a runner so he cannot be let out side alone but must be leashed. He loves children but has never lived with them so prefer a home that is a senior retired couple or single. He has lived with a cat and enjoys them as well. You will fall in love with him as everyone else who meets him has done the same. If you have the goal of giving a senior dog a loving home, please contact me.

Story
This girl is spicy. She has no teeth but don't worry she can eat just fine. Very food motivated. I think it is the number 1 thing in her mind. She needs to be the only dog unless she is with a very nice dog that will put up with a spicy very bossy little dog. 90 % of the time she is the sweetest little girl. She can't hurt anyone now but she may scare someone not knowing she doesn't have teeth. She is a really fun loving dog and will make a wonderful companion dog for someone. Call me for better description. She really is a good girl. FOR AN APPLICATION CALL 509-979-3539 if no answer leave a message.

Story
The Sweetest, Kindest Pup Are you looking for a gentle, caring, sweet pup to add to your pack? Bessie might be the dog for you. Bessie and her babies (part of our Bovine Bunch) came to us from Adams County Pet Rescue (ACPR). ACPR had taken in some brand-new mamas with days old puppies and asked for our help with these litters, and our talented fosters were able to take them all. Recently, ACPR reached out to us again; Bessie’s mom had been hit by a car and her owner was unable to care for her very young puppies – could we help? We took in the puppies, and gentle Bessie stepped up to nurse and mother these very young babies. She lavished the same love and attention on them as she had on her own pups. Here are the basics: Bessie is a chihuahua mix with chocolatey brown markings and adorable, soft ears that frame her lovely face. She weighs about 11 pounds; she was born in early April of 2025 and is fully grown. Now the fun stuff: Bessie is a sweet, lovable girl who goes with the flow and loves to be right next to you. She gives little wiggles that are hilarious, and with her ears falling so close to her eyes, she makes the most expressive gestures. Bessie has a silly side, and she delights in zoomies around the yard or in circles around the couch. Her foster home has several large dogs, and Bessie decided she fit in better with the cats for snuggles and shares the couch with them. But her size will not hold her back; she loves the company of the larger dogs and enjoys playing with them. Her small size and quickness make for fun racing games outside. Bessie does very well with children, and she has not displayed any interest in the chickens or rabbits at her foster home. Her friendly nature and gentle spirit make her popular with everyone she meets. Bessie is learning to take time for herself, though she checks in with the puppies regularly and makes sure they are settling well into their foster home. She’s had a lot of motherhood in a short amount of time, and this sweet girl deserves some me time! Bessie is potty trained, sleeps through the night in her crate, and is learning her basic commands and leash manners. She adores settling into a warm blanket at bed time after snuggles with her people, and Bessie contentedly spends time during the day in her crate with a nice chew toy. She’s practically perfect (though on occasion has chewed an unsuspecting shoe left lying about). While she waits for that special someone to come along, Bessie is getting lots of love, attention, and play time with her foster family and exploring who she is now that she has completed two rounds of motherhood in a few months. This sweet girl has earned her romping time and naps! If you want to learn more about Bessie, apply or visit our website. Ready to adopt? Now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at: www.lilaccitypupproject.org. Our adoption team will spring into action! You will have a phone call conversation with a dedicated adoption counselor, and the adoption team will contact your vet(s), if applicable. Once you have been matched with a dog, a meet and greet will be set up and take place at the foster family's home. After the meet and greet, there will be a home inspection and in-home trial prior to adoption finalization. Lilac City Pup Project is entirely volunteer and foster run, with no kennel facility. Only approved adoption applicants will be able to meet our dogs outside of adoption events. Adoption Donations: $350 for Puppies up to 9 months $300 for Adults 9 months or older *includes spay/neuter, all core vaccinations, and microchip. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Lilac City Pup Project is a federal 501c3 organization. Not sure you want to adopt, foster first and adopt later! LCPP is always in need of fosters. There is an overwhelming number of dogs who need our help and the more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save. LCPP covers expenses, including food. Fosters provide love and a soft place to crash. At Lilac City Pup Project we strive to better the lives of vulnerable dogs through rescue, foster, and adoption services; educate dog owners and empower them to build successful human/canine relationships; and support the local community by partnering with shelters facing overcrowding and limited resources. LCPP is organized exclusively for public, charitable, and/or educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. LCPP is a Nonprofit organization formed in Washington State in April 2025, by passionate dog lovers. One hundred percent (100%) of every dollar goes to furthering our tax-exempt purpose. Story
Meet Devon! Born on 8/4/26, Devon is an adorable Chihuahua mix with soft white fur, black patches around his eyes, and expressive brown eyebrow markings which enhance his endearing puppy dog eyes. He will be a small dog when fully grown.  A curious pup who likes to explore (as long as he knows you are close by), Devon is part of our Bovine Bunch 2.0 litter. He and his siblings were surrendered to Adams County Pet Rescue (ACPR) when their mom was hit by a car and unable to care for her newborn puppies.  Despite being younger than them, Devon is actually an uncle to our original Bovine Bunch pups! When ACPR asked us to take in these guys, we were happy to add to the family. Our amazing fosters bottle fed these sweet guys and gave them the love, care, and experiences needed to start them on their journey to being awesome family pets. We are currently taking applications for Devon, and he will be able to go home with an adopter on October 9, after he is neutered. Applications will be reviewed as they come in, and interviews with potential adopters will begin on September 22.  To begin the adoption process and learn more about Devon, apply today! Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a few hours at a time. Please only apply if you can be home with your puppy or can make arrangements for the puppy’s care. Ready to adopt? Now what?
