Adoption Pending, no longer accepting apps. Animal Profile: Timon is a 2 year old Chihuahua mix that was originally found running through traffic in Southern California. Luckily, a Good Samaritan was able to scoop him out of harms way, and he found himself on a bus to Washington when no one came to claim him. Timon was brought to a spay neuter clinic hosted by Dog Gone Seattle, and the Assistant Director fell in love with his personality. Timon was officially transferred to our care that day and he is so ready for a family to call his own. Foster Update: Timon has been happy go lucky from the get go. Despite being emaciated and having a case of kennel cough, he was all wags all day. Timon is friendly with dogs, cats and kids. He’s been in a foster home and is great in his crate, and loves to play and snuggle. He’s got the energy to go go go but is also more than happy to cuddle up whenever he can. Timon has the most adorable singing voice but he only sings with you. He’s quiet in his crate at night, and prances like a prince on leash. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, andhealth certificate. Welcome Atom to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 3-month-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mixed puppy. Mom is Chihuahua and dad is a Dachshund. Atom is small and weighs about 5 pounds now. He fits easily in your hands. He has droopy ears and a wrinkly forehead and some big, beautiful eyes that will be hard to resist. He has a straight and a longer body. He should be 15 pounds or less full grown. He will be a small dog. Both parents were under 12 pounds. He would be best in a home where the person doesn’t work all day every day. A house with less stairs is best as well. He needs to be with his human, to be able to go places and to finish up his puppy training. He will go potty on a wee pad. He is playful and the puppies all like toys. He is the middle size in his litter. He is getting his puppy vaccines, dewormed and will be ready for neuter when he is a few weeks older or heavier. They need to weigh 5 pounds to be neutered. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older due to his small size. He could be adopted locally in Texas, where she is in the Rescue or we could work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
