Chihuahua puppies and dogs in Washington

Hollandaise is a pipsqueak of a puppy looking for his family! This little guy is a little shy and looking for an experienced home that can help build his confidence and show him all the good things in the world. Hollandaise likes pets and ear scritches and will gently paw you for more. As he settles in and gains confidence, he will become spunky and playful. We don't know how he is with other dogs or cats, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Hollandaise is looking for a quiet home with just teens and adults where he can settle in at his own pace. He's just a baby, so he will need help with potty training, leash training, and socialization. If you're ready to welcome home this little guy, make an adoption appointment to meet him today!

Animal Information: Merv was brought into the Stanislaus Shelter as part of a hoarding case. He was living in a home with 30 dogs, and not being cared for. Despite having never left that property before, Merv was sweet with shelter and veterinary staff. We were happy to give him a ticket to a better life here in Seattle, and can't wait to get to know him Foster Profile:  Merv is getting neutered on 11/4 and will be available for adoption after recovery! Foster Merv (aka Merlin) arrived two weeks ago and is slowly settling in. He didn’t come from great beginnings and that’s pretty obvious in his mannerisms. He’s pretty fearful and will sometimes cower when his foster mom reaches down to pet him, but little by little, he’s gaining confidence and learning that he’s safe and loved.  He’s doing great going potty outside and is mostly quiet in his crate. When Merv first arrived, he had no idea how to walk on a leash. Now he gets SO excited when the leash comes out and absolutely loves his walks! Watching his confidence grow has been pretty special. Merv will need a quieter home with a patient family who will give him time to continue building trust. We think he’d really benefit from another confident dog to show him the ropes. A fenced yard would also be ideal, because while Merv now loves his walks, he has yet to decide that pooping on a leash is acceptable.  Merv is such a sweet boy, and with a little time, patience and love, we know he’s going to blossom into an absolute gem of a dog.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus Animal Shelter. He will be transferred via Wigglebutts, arriving to foster care on 9/27/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.October 21, 2026, 11:43 pm

Meet Scooby Dee! 🐾 Every great story needs a main character, and this little chihuahua mix is ready to star in yours. Scooby carries herself with a soft, playful energy that's impossible not to fall for, equal parts spunky and sweet. Whether she's chasing a toy across the room or curling up for a nap in your lap, she brings a gentle kind of joy to everything she does. She's a big fan of toys and loves nothing more than a good play session, and she's affectionate through and through, always ready for pets and cuddles. In her foster home, Scooby lives alongside her litter mates and other dogs, giving her plenty of chances to build her social skills early on. She plays well with her brothers and sisters, tumbling and romping around together like the best of friends. She also gets to grow up around children, which means she's learning what it's like to be part of a busy, loving household from the very start. All of that early exposure is helping shape her into a well-rounded pup who's comfortable with dogs and kids alike. Scooby is still writing her own story, and she's looking for the perfect co-star to help her fill the next chapters with adventures, belly rubs, and plenty of playtime. She's the kind of puppy who makes you smile just by being nearby, with a personality as big as her heart. If you're ready to be the supporting character in Scooby's story (though let's be honest, she'll make you feel like the main character too), reach out today and start your adventure together! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6ab52e000b70d7f9850378e2 Questions?
