Story
Meet Eloise! Eloise is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being around people and is happiest when she's part of the action. She's friendly, enjoys spending time with her family, and is always ready for her next adventure. If you're looking for a walking or hiking companion, Eloise is your girl! She has plenty of energy and enjoys two to three walks each day, usually about 30 minutes each. She'd thrive with an active family that can help her stay busy and engaged. Eloise has done well being left home alone for up to three hours. She has been calm, doesn't seem to mind the quiet time, and hasn't gotten into trouble in the house. She is good with cats and dogs! She enjoys spending time outside with her people and doesn't need a tall fence. She's content in a yard with a 3-foot fence and doesn't try to jump it. That said, if a gate is left open, she may decide to head out on her own little adventure, so secure gates are important. Eloise has a consistent routine that she loves. Breakfast is around 8:00 a.m. and dinner is around 5:00 p.m. She eats 1 cup of Blue Buffalo Senior Chicken & Brown Rice kibble at each meal, topped with a couple of tablespoons of Beneful Prepared Meals. Right now, her kibble is softened with water while she recovers from a recent dental procedure, and she happily cleans her bowl every time. She enjoys most dog treats—just don't offer her Milk-Bones! With her loving personality, active lifestyle, and easygoing nature at home, Eloise is ready to find a family who will enjoy walks, adventures, and plenty of quality time together.

Story
Tucumcari is currently located at our Everyday Adoption Center in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our Everyday Adoption Center team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! In the moonlit world of magical pets, Tucumcari, a charming chihuahua mix, was whisked away by a benevolent wind spirit who admired his gentle heart. A skittish, but playful young boy, Tucumcari wants nothing more than to be in your lap or running around with his favorite friends. He has personal space, but when it comes to *your* personal space? Never heard of it!~ Mischievously, the spirit decided that Tucumcari needed a place where his kindness could shine brighter and help humans learn the joy of unconditional love. Thus, he was gently placed in a shelter, ready to meet his forever companion. Tucumcari is not just a pet; he’s a little beacon of love, waiting to brighten your life with his magical charm.
