Story
This pups adoption fee has been partially sponsored by All Aboard or an All Aboard partner! The new adoption fee is reflected on the profile. Tazz was rescued from an overcrowded shelter by our director when she visited our partner in New Mexico. He is very shy and appears to not understand what it is like to really be loved. Tazz is looking for a very patient person who can slowly show him what it is like to be loved and give him the unconditional love he deserves for the rest of his life. Tazz is not a people-dog yet and still very much prefers the company of dogs. He still makes it very difficult to even approach, let alone touch him. Our director is working with him to show him that humans are not all bad and are actually a source of good things (like food!). Tazz needs an adopter who will understand his boundaries and need to go slow. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Tazz is not your guy (yet). If you are looking for a very rewarding experience in helping him become comfortable with humans, please apply! ADOPTION FEE: $75 We are a foster-based rescue and do not generally have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Thackery Binx is a loving little guy who is curious about the big world around him. He is the last remaining of his litter and just can't wait to meet you!! Meet - https://youtube.com/shorts/3CNLHL_UaS8?si=RfF5kvohVJBaCrCu From his foster parent: "He is SO smart! He listens well, but is a total goofball. He's completely kennel trained, but he prefers to have a soft bed in the kennel with him. He LOVES to cuddle. He sleeps with me most of the time and he's a great sleeper, he even sleeps in if you're quiet in the morning. He is 80% potty trained. He has separation anxiety, so he does best in the kennel with a bed when you leave the house because his anxiousness makes him go to the bathroom when he's alone. He is very gentle with children, but he does jump. (We are still working on this, it's those long legs.) he does great with other animals, cats and dogs, but his energy level can be a bit much for animals who aren't as fond of play time. He doesn't bark very much at home, but he always barks at strangers. You have to put anything and everything up and out of Thackery's reach because he LOVES to chew on things. ANYTHING. Having lots of toys is very helpful. He is very smart, so when redirected to chew on a toy instead of something else, he is happy to do that. He does not like the car. He gets very quiet and timid in the car. If you need any more info let me know. He's an amazing boy!" Story
Ummm... when did we become a baby hyena rescue?! Jokes aside, this tiny little gal is SO CUTE and has beautiful, unique coloring. Marie arrived at our rescue partner as a stray and somehow nobody claimed her! She's ready to find her perfect forever home with plenty of wildebeest to hunt.... I mean dog treats to eat!!!! From her foster: " She has such a little personality it's adorable. They actually didn't give me a crate but last night she just slept like a baby in her bed and woke up after 8 hours of sleep and pooped on the potty pad! She has a ton of energy when she's up and loves people and is super independent so she is amazing. Definitely a lovely little girl and it's crazy for a foster in my opinion to be so excited and not nervous to be around people... also considering she is so tiny. She does love nibbling but I am trying to redirect her to toys which she is doing good at! ADOPTION FEE: $525 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Story
*Jimmy does not attend our Saturday adoption events. He is available by private adoption appointment and is located in foster care in Fort Collins, CO. Contact us for more information!* Jimmy the gentleman has quickly stolen the hearts of many while within our care. He was transferred into Bounce from NOCO Humane when both organizations felt that he would do best in a foster home set up. He has quickly shown us how friendly, affectionate, and well-mannered he is. Aged at approximately 8 years, he is spry and carefree and loves to show off with occasional living room zoomies. Despite having no teeth, he is very food motivated and comes running when he hears cheese wrappers. (Also having no teeth has given him the best expressions as his tongue lazily hangs from his mouth most of the day.) Jimmy loves doing all things with his humans (car rides, Netflix binges, and short walks to the mailbox). While he is friendly towards dogs, cats, and children, he would really love a lower energy home where he could be obsessively doted upon as an only child. Jimmy is an 8-year-old mixed breed rescued from a local Colorado shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and neutered. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
From what we understand, Mochi (nee Amber) was born in a hoarder house/puppy mill in Texas, and had very little human contact for her first year of life. She seemed normal-ish if a bit fearful when we met her at her foster home, but she regressed pretty hard when we took her home. She was extremely fearful of people and didn't ever want to leave her crate except to eliminate, which she would do when she felt nobody was watching. Over the last three years, we've gotten her out of her shell a bit. She went from panic pooping and dissociating whenever we took her from her crate to allowing me to bathe her and trim her nails. She started out not knowing any tricks or commands, but now follows "touch," "go to bed," "leave it," "sit," "dance," and "scoff." (don't ask) She has learned to trust at least one person (me), and will seek affection; asking for pets and returning little licks. She has a big doggy personality; she will beg for treats and perform the tricks/commands she knows in sequence, hoping to get a reward. She now comes out to greet us when we come home, running in a circle and barking with excitement. She likes to be chased and will try to goad me into chasing her, though she doesn't want to play chase for very long. We had her on a fluoxetine prescription to get her past the initial fearful stages, and she hasn't been on it for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, Mochi still struggles with the remnants of her early life. She will often wait to eliminate until nobody can see or hear her, and will not always do it on the pee pad in her safe space. (We have the laundry room cordoned off for her so she can hide without other people or dogs bothering her. The only time she's bitten someone was when they didn't respect the sanctity of her crate.) She enjoys the backyard and will pee and poop there, and we've rewarded her fairly consistently for it, but it's not consistent. We are two working adults who do not have time to intervene in the kind of repeated and immediate way that she needs to become fully housebroken. She also doesn't want to trust that the two of us humans are not working against her; she will come out to play and be affectionate when she's alone with us, particularly me; she will usually hide in one of her "dog nests" throughout the house otherwise, and is not likely to come out unless we offer her a treat. She is very smart and knows her sounds, and will come if she's properly motivated. What Mochi needs is an attentive owner or trainer, I think ideally a solo adult, who can help her finish growing into a respectable pet. She wants to be a good dog, but it's clear she's fighting her fearful instincts to do so. We sadly don't have the time or resources to provide this ourselves, though we are proud of the progress she's made so far. A home with non-carpeted floors would be preferable as well, as there will be a transition period with housebreaking - our trainer warned us that with dogs that were basically stray puppies, sometimes they never fully adapt to housetraining.

Meet the world’s nicest Cujo! This 13lb boy is full of snuggles and adoration. He loves to follow his humans around and gets along great with all of his canine and feline companions. Cujo does great on a leash and loves to walk, he also enjoys car rides and binge watching Netflix. Cujo is crate trained and mostly potty trained (with some excitement/nervousness slip ups), he is non destructive and never aggressive. He can be a bit nervous in new and loud situations, so a calm quiet home would be great for him! Best guess on his breed is chihuahua/mini Aussie mix. He’s a good listener with a lot of love and snuggles to give! Come meet this sweet boy in Thornton!
