Story
He is a super friendly boy who truly adores people. Because of that, he can be a bit clingy—but only in the best way—he simply loves being near his humans and soaking up their company. He is both house trained and crate trained, and he’s doing great on walks as well; he’s been working hard on pulling less and continues to improve. This sweet guy loves to cuddle and is often a sleepy, cozy companion around the house, but he happily perks up for walks and outings. His favorite toys are chew bones, which he can enjoy for hours. He responds very well to his name and listens nicely to commands like sit, come, and stay when engaged. He’s also a relatively quiet boy

Story
Keffie is currently located at the EAC in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Keffie is a tiny 4-year-old Chihuahua girl with a big heart and a tender soul. She’s had a tough start to life, so she’s searching for a very calm, patient, and understanding home that’s willing to go at her pace and help her learn that the world—and humans—can be kind and safe. Keffie is extremely sensitive and takes things step by step, but she’s truly trying and making progress every single day. With gentle guidance and consistency, her confidence continues to grow, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch. Once Keffie feels safe and knows she can trust you, her true personality shines through—she turns into a wiggly little bundle of energy who loves to play, cuddle, and soak up affection. Beneath her shy exterior is a silly, snuggly girl with so much love and personality just waiting to burst out for the right person. If you’re someone with a quiet home, a big heart, and the patience to help a deserving little dog blossom, Keffie could be your perfect match!

Story
My name is Chaqueta which means “jacket” in Spanish. I literally will wrap you up in a jacket of hugs and love. I like nothing better than to sit on your lap, cuddle or be carried around in my carrier. I am the absolute best lap dog for working from home, watching TV or reading a book. I LOVE to be close to my humans. It’s the most important thing on my wish list. I walk very well on a leash although I do get cold. I am working on my potty training but if you give me plenty of opportunity outside I have no issues. I like to bark at my canine friends when I am being held to assert that I am very important despite my pint size. It’s not my preference to be in a kennel and I will bark although I’m getting more accustomed to it. I’m a work in progress. If you are looking for a small furry friend who will love you unconditionally I am your pint sized jacket.

We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Together, we are making a difference!
