Cookie is the sweetest little chiweenie looking for her forever home. She’s about 4 years old, she has all her shots and records, she is spayed, microchipped, and will go home with everything she needs. She’s very cuddly, loves to play fetch, loves to be brushed and bathed, doesnt mind her teeth being brushed. She’s very well behaved she’s had a few behavioral training sessions, she’s fully potty trained and is a clean freak - anything on her fur she will want to be wiped down or bathed. She is not picky with her food or treats. She loves to cuddle and has separation anxiety she will whine if she’s locked in a crate or a room by herself. She likes to follow people around and see what they are doing if you’re busy she will just take a nap and wait next to you. She does bark at strangers and doorbells

M - 2 years old - Chihuahua/Terrier Mix - Meet Dunn, one half of a very special sibling duo! This goofy boy is bonded with his sister, Brooke, and the two are looking for a forever home together. Dunn is the confident one of the pair—happy, playful, and always ready to make friends. He loves people, absolutely loves treats, and has a wonderfully goofy personality that makes him impossible not to smile at. He's the kind of dog who brings a little fun wherever he goes. His sister Brooke is more timid and nervous, but Dunn helps her feel brave. She gains confidence from having her brother by her side, and his happy-go-lucky attitude seems to remind her that the world isn't quite so scary after all. These two truly complement each other. Dunn brings the confidence and comic relief, while Brooke brings her sweet, gentle nature. They may be a little different, but they clearly belong together. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. Story
Peanut is a sweet tiny little girl. She’s about 6 months to a year old she’s still a puppy and definitely acts like one. She may be a little shy at first but she warms up pretty quickly. She likes to follow her person around wherever they go and she will stand on your chest or your lap and guard you. She’s a little cuddle bug she’ll either lay on my chest and sleep or curl her body around my head and sleep. She gets cold easily so if you have the ac on she will need a blanket to hide under and clothes for the winter. Still working on getting her fully potty trained but she’s catching on she just doesn’t understand how to tell me so I have to guess when she needs to go. She’s only 5lbs she’s a tiny baby. She’s friendly with other dogs she just needs her space for a couple hours in the beginning to get settled in a new environment. She doesn’t bark at anything but she squeaks when she’s playing.

Story
I don’t know what happened to her before I got her, but she has a lot of fear and anxiety. When I first started caring for her, she made great progress, especially when gently socializing with other dogs. Having another calm dog around really helped her confidence. She has never been aggressive—she may bark at unfamiliar people, but it’s always from fear. Loud noises also make her shake. Because of recent health and family issues, I can’t give her the stable, quiet home she needs, and her anxiety has gotten worse. She has all her shots and takes a monthly flea pill. She recently became so stressed that she stopped eating and drinking consistently, and pushing her seemed to make it worse. I believe her struggles are environmental, not medical. She is a very sweet, gentle dog who wants to feel safe. I’m hoping to find a patient home, ideally with another friendly dog, where she can rebuild her confidence and enjoy life again.
