But then she gives you that great big smile, and you get a glimpse of just how special this little girl really is. Behind all that fear is a genuinely sweet and gentle dog who deserves the chance to learn that people can be kind and that she is safe. She's going to need a patient, understanding family willing to move at her pace rather than expecting her to immediately become a confident, outgoing dog.
