M - 9 years old - Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix - Jack Frost is a older boy who is slowing down, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like a good cuddle and short, two minute walks! He had several teeth removed due to dental disease, requires a mixture of wet and soaked dry due to the tooth loss, and has some vision impairment. He does fine with other dogs so long as they're not too hyper and in his opinion, annoying. But he knows how to hold his own if it results in a scuffle. He has been around cats and doesn’t seem to really care that they’re there, even when they give him a quick swat to see if he’s going to play. And he loves kids, so long as they are respectful and cuddly! What he really needs is a loving family to give him some peaceful golden years and love that he so desperately misses. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. All adoptions are $25 and our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to head home with you. Harley is the sweetest most lovable little dog and would make an excellent pet for somebody who is home a lot and doesn't travel much and can give her all the love and attention that she needs and wants. She does bark a lot but other than that, she should make an excellent family pet. We just have one too many dogs and we travel too much for her liking. She does not do well when we leave her.
