Story
Smokey is a very good and happy boy. His dad has become unable to care for himself and so this very good boy and his brother, Lucky, are needing a new forever home. Their dad is a kind man who let the boys have the run of the house and yard. The family members caring for them now report that the boys are progressing well with their house manners. Once boundaries are re-established, it seems both Smokey and Lucky are good in the house. They are affectionate pets and are fine with encouragement on the leash. These very worthy boys are waiting for the next chapter. We want this to be with a person as loving as the first. Please consider Smokey and possibly Lucky too. They qualify for the Pets for Vets and Seniors for Seniors adoptions. Both boys are neutered and just had dentals. They had vaccines updated and had negative heartworm tests. Lucky has no vision in his right eye due to a previous illness.

Lucky and Smokey came to Rescue after their person could no longer care for himself and so the boys are needing a new home. Lucky is a very good and happy boy. 9 wk old pups 8 in the liter 2 females 5 males up-to-date on shots and wormed ready for their new homes. These puppies will probably be small estimation of I would say less than 15 pounds maybe parents are not that big but they will be ready for their new homes. The pictures aren’t the best pictures because they would not hold Steel for pictures. I had to have someone hold them. Sorry about the pictures. Adoption fee is 400

Sawyer is an adorable senior Chihuahua mix who was found as a stray on a busy road late at night after several near encounters with passing vehicles. A Good Samaritan safely removed him from danger and brought him home. When efforts to locate an owner were unsuccessful, Sawyer entered a Misty Eyes foster home, where he is now safe and receiving excellent care.Sawyer arrived somewhat overweight, but has been making steady progress toward a healthier weight in foster care. He tested positive for Ehrlichia, a tick-borne disease; however, he is asymptomatic and does not require treatment at this time.While Sawyer may need a little time to feel fully secure in a new environment, he is a very sweet and friendly companion. He is not overly vocal and gets along well with other dogs. Sawyer would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can enjoy the comfort and affection he deserves.
