Meet Etta Mae! Etta Mae is an 8-month-old sweetheart weighing around 25 pounds who is ready to find her forever family! She may be little, but she has a huge heart and is incredibly loyal to the people she loves. Etta Mae came to us after spending time in a shelter with her mom and siblings. We don't know much about her early life, she was very nervous and unsure about everything. In just one month, she has made incredible progress in foster and continues to grow more confident every day! She now loves going on walks, exploring the world, and meeting new people. She's potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash—even while being walked by a toddler! She seems to adore kids and enjoys having little humans around. As she's gained confidence, Etta Mae has discovered just how fun it is to play! She loves stuffies, chewing on bones, and learning how to wrestle and play with her foster sister. Watching her goofy personality come out has been such a joy. Etta Mae would thrive in a home with another friendly, easygoing dog. Whether it's a playful companion or a calm older dog, she loves having a canine buddy to follow around and snuggle with. She also does wonderfully with cats and gets along great with her foster cat brother. At the end of the day, Etta Mae's favorite place is curled up in bed with her foster family. She settles in anywhere she goes and is happiest when she's close to her people. Are you looking for a cozy cuddly older but not yet ready for full retirement pup? Oscar would love to be your new new best friend. He is great with kids and just loves being next to his human or curled up on the couch. He will walk on a leash and follow you around where ever you go. He is ok in the car and loves meeting strangers. Oscar is still working on house training but with the help of belly wraps he does really well and goes outside anytime he is let out. Oscar came to rescue because his family had to leave their home and they had too many dogs to bring into the new apartment. Hi! I’m Kyser! I’m a 10 year old chiweenie minpin mix! I get nervous but once I get to know you I’m stuck like glue! I LOVE to love. I’m huge on cuddling, following my person around and cuddling under the covers (I think most call it being a Velcro dog?) I would love to have an owner that is home the majority of the day! While I do well with kids smaller little ones can make me a little nervous, I don’t really like my legs, paws, or belly messed with and sometimes they aren’t really respectful. I’m great with other dogs, but I think rowdy ones are rude and would likely do best in a home with calmer dogs. I don’t care about cats (unless they try and lay on me).

We do well with other dogs and kids of all ages. We do like to chase cats if they run, but we're so small we don't really pose a threat. We look to be chihuahua mixes of some kind. We're about a year and a half old. I weigh 8 lbs and Bailey weighs 13. We are crate trained and housebroken as long as we're kept on a schedule. A home visit will be required so only homes in a 50 mile radius of Indianapolis should apply.
