Story
Hi, My name is Hank and I'm a little guy with a big heart. I like treats and I like to sit on your lap. My rescuers say I'm a little heart throb and am such a happy little guy. I'm easy going and roll with the flow. I was one of those dogs that was found running on a busy highway. I know, don't get me started as that's all behind me and I've proven myself to be well worth saving. Please adopt me! lease apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp and we'll send you the next steps.

Story
Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: NoCrate trained: NoHouse trained: Yes (with pee pads)Sui is a very special little lady with an enormous heart and a wonderful personality!Sui thrives being around other pups (the more the merrier) and gains confidence with people through observing other dogs and their human interactions. She is looking for a loving, calm, and consistent home with a confident, nurturing doggie sibling who can help her feel safe and secure. When she is nervous, she takes comfort by snuggling up to other dogs in the home.It may take Sui some time to trust new people, especially men, but once she warms up, she is a sweet, spunky, lovable pup! She loves to stick with her pack and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. For a small dog she easily keeps up with the bigger pups in her foster home. She is also comfortable around cats and has been smitten with a neighbor’s Maine Coon cat. She absolutely loves running with other dogs in a fenced-in area. For a little pup, she is incredibly fast!Sui has good leash manners when using a transitional lead. She enjoys walks around the neighborhood and in the woods, but the beach is her favorite place by far. She has even been known to frequent local breweries to listen to live music! She has started to approach people on her own to say hello as she gets more and more at ease with being in new situations. Sui knows she is pretty and loves to dress up in all her cute outfits, but she is a smart girl too and knows ‘sit’, ‘laydown’, and ‘dance’ for treats. She also has amazing recall and loves sprinting back to her humans when her name is called! She, like most dogs, loves her Lamb Chop toy and will carry it around the house. Sui is uncomfortable around kids, so an adult-only home would be best. Sui has separation anxiety, so she is looking for a home where her humans are around a lot or where there is another dog she can depend on. She is not crate trained, but she can be trusted home alone with another dog, especially if they are gated into a specific area.Sui is a flight risk, so caution will need to be used when walking outdoors or opening doors in the home. Sui is working on house training and does great if taken out on a regular schedule.More than anything in the world, Sui wants to be part of a loving pack that can help her build up her confidence and give her lots of snuggles. While this sweet girl may need a little extra TLC, she is absolutely worth it!Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: YesCrate trained: Mostly (May protest at first but then settles and is mostly accident free)House Trained: Mostly (1-2 accidents/week; just needs time and consistency)A loyal, little guy, Tidbit can be a little nervous initially but quickly warms up and makes new friends. Overall, he is on the calmer side; although he does get excited for some of his favorite things like car rides and walks!Affectionate and personable, Tidbit should fit in anywhere. He is a cuddler and not afraid to make himself at home on the couch and request belly rubs! Great on the leash, he is also dog and cat friendly. His interactions with children have been limited, but he has done well with them.Tidbit will enter the crate willingly, but he will bark and whine at first before settling in. Almost there with his house training, he should master it with consistency and focus.A little dude with a big personality, Tidbit cannot wait to meet his forever family! Will go in crate willingly, does initially bark/whine when crated but does settle. No accidents noted in crate. Occasionally crated during the day and night.5-6 hourshours crated during day1-2 accidents total in foster home when first brought home. Mainly housetrained. Walks very well on a leash! Mostly ignores/avoids other dogs while on leash! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted.
