Details
Good with dogs, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Duke is an incredibly well-behaved dog who is beloved by his owner. A recent medical diagnoses for the owner has caused his owner to no longer be able to care for him for the length of his life. Duke is a very happy, smart, loyal and cuddly dog. He likes to get about 30 minutes of exercise a day and cuddle and relax otherwise. Duke is house trained, crate trained, up to date on all his shots and has no medical issues. While Duke is a big dog, he is very obedient, is prong collar trained, ECollar trained, and knows the following commands; sit, crate, out(release a toy or item), yuck(to stop eating something he should not be), down, up(jumps on human shoulders), wait, stay, ok(release word) and spin. He has been well-socialized and has lived in both the city and country, with and without his own yard. Duke has lived with other big dogs with no issues. Duke is a great running partner, as well. Duke does not like small dogs and prefers small children to keep their distance.

Story
Jules is a fun loving goof ball who loves nothing more in life than chasing his orange rubber ball all day long. He is more of a people dog than a dog, dog and is soon to be 10 years old but has the energy of a 5 year old. His place as king of the household has changed with two young sisters now running around and sadly he cares so much about them that he howls/whines every time they cry. He would be much happier to have another house to himself so he can chase his ball in peace.

Story
Stella is a sweet and incredibly affectionate dog. She loves to be with her people. She is very strong and energetic. She loves going on walks but will pull to chase a squirrel or bunny. She goes to doggy daycare and has been socialized with other dogs. She loves to sniff and play with other dogs. She does not like cats. We have one and have to keep them separated. Stella has been with us since she was 10 wks and was a rescue from WAGS. She’s 4 now. We were told we were getting a black lab. Her paper work identified her as such. After DNA testing she is a mix breed of Black Lab, Staffordshire Terrier, Weimaraner, Boxer & Husky. She is powerful, fast, and the sweetest girl ever. Unfortunately, due to severe health issues that affect my eyes and future vision, I have to make this awful decision to re-home Stella. We are looking for someone loving, strong and has time to spend with Stella as she craves attention and will sit right on top of you if you let her! She is a love!

Details

Story
Ruby is a loving, loyal 7-year-old dog who has been part of our family since she was a puppy. She is affectionate, people-focused, and happiest when she’s near her humans—whether that’s relaxing at home, lying beside you while you work, or heading outside for an adventure. Ruby is crate trained, does well being left alone, and is not an early riser. She is trained with an electric fence and remote collar and has excellent recall. She enjoys walks, hikes, and playing fetch, but she is also perfectly content with a calm, predictable routine and time to roam in a fenced yard. Ruby would do best as the only pet and in a home with older children (10+) or adults only, as young children make her uncomfortable. This has led us to make the very difficult decision to find her a new home where she can feel relaxed and safe. In the right environment, Ruby is an incredibly devoted, easy-going companion who will bring so much love to her next family. 🐾

London

Mutt

Female, Senior
Wareham, MA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
London is about 10-12 yrs old. She is spayed with a microchip but needs a vet visit and vaccines. She has arthritis and needs to be started on meds to help her get around easier. She was never properly socialized with dogs and was also attacked by an Akita so she is dog selective I would say. No small dogs though. Proper, slow introductions with another dog would be needed so an experienced home with this would be necessary. If no other pets she's an easy girl. She's good with respectful children and absolutely loves people and attention. She can be left loose in the house and not get into any trouble. She walks fine on a leash and is a calm chill dog looking for her family to live out her golden years. Her dad is enlisting in the Navy and cannot bring her with him sadly. She needs a home within the week. All the shelters and rescues are full, we have already tried that route. Located in Weymouth MA but transport is available! Please contact me for more information!
