** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Nunez is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 14 lbs. His owner is needing to surrender due to working some nights and Nunez cries. Since he lives in an apartment he is getting noise complaints. Nunez is social but would need a home without shared walls. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Nunez, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Nunez into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.

Taffy is an adorable long-legged Chihuahua mix, about 3 years old and weighing under 10 pounds. With her soft fawn coat and sweet floppy ears, she’s as cute as can be. Taffy is a gentle soul who is slow to warm up, but once she trusts you, she adores attention and love. She’s currently being fostered in San Bernardino County, CA, where she’s shown she’s fine with other dogs and even cats. However, Taffy would also be very happy as an only dog, soaking up all the love and cuddles for herself. True to her petite size, she has a quiet, delicate personality and would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and cherished. Taffy’s adoption fee is $350. Meet Sweetheart – and yes, he lives up to his name! Sweetheart is a handsome tan Chihuahua who recently came into rescue with his two Chihuahua brothers after their owner passed away. Currently unneutered and in need of a little extra TLC, Sweetheart is searching for a patient and loving home where he can feel safe and cherished once again. Though initially shy, Sweetheart has a gentle and affectionate soul. Once he feels secure, he loves to be touched, gives the sweetest kisses, and will happily come to you for affection. Sweetheart spends time kenneled with his brother Delgado, and they get along beautifully. They would be thrilled to stay together in a forever home, but Sweetheart would also thrive with a family who can give him the love, patience, and gentle care he deserves. Sweetheart enjoys outdoor adventures, sniffing around the yard, and exploring at his own pace.
