Roxie is a 14 1/2 year old dachshund/corgi mix AKA a dorgi. She came into rescue after her human mom developed a serious illness. Roxie is an easy going lady who loves to nap and hang out in the backyard when the weather is nice. She uses the dog door like a champ, and she will give you an affection arooooo when you come back home. Roxie is about 20ish pounds but would benefit from losing a couple pounds and shes very polite when eating and taking treats. Roxie is fostered with an active terrier mix, a calm Shih Tzu mix and a fluffy cat whole loves all dogs and she does well with all the personalities. Hi, I’m Sadie! I’m a Dachshund mix weighing about 20 lbs and will be 5 years old in the spring. I am very affectionate and love to snuggle. I am easy to take care of, I love to sleep in, and I don’t bark. I only need a few walks a day to take care of business and smell the outdoors. All my shots are current, I’m spayed and I’m house-trained. I’m loyal and also protective of my owner, which sometimes makes me growl at other dogs that I don’t know, so it’s best to keep me at a distance from them. I can also be a little shy around strangers, and I like the chance to warm up to them first. My current owner is getting up in years and can’t take me for walks anymore, so I’m starting to put on some weight. I would benefit from a younger owner who can take me for longer walks. I'm used to being the only dog in the house and, although I get along okay with most other dogs, I really want to be your one-and-only. I think a fenced yard would also be good for me. Are you ready for a sweet, loving dog who is happy to curl up by your side all day long? Here I am! Sadie is good with adults and older/considerate/gentle kids; good in the car; likes to be in your lap; affectionate; obedient and eager to please; intelligent; even-tempered and gentle. Cici is a wonderful dog who is sweet and loving and definitely gets attached to her humans. She’ll do best in a home that is retired or works from home as she does have some separation anxiety. Once she is comfortable, those were subside. She she likes to go on walks and loves to sleep with her humans. She just got a dental cleaning so her teeth are in perfect condition. She does best with submissive dogs that just allow her to be bossy. She needs an owner that understands the dachshund and rat terrier trait. She does have stranger danger, which is common with the dachshund breed so we need someone who understands that she gets very intimidated by strangers but as soon as they come into the house and they’re accepted, she does fine.

Meet Squirt 🐾 Squirt came into my care as an emergency overnight foster on July 4th, 2023, along with her female pit bull buddy. Sadly, no one ever came back for them. About a year later, her pittie companion passed away from mammary cancer, leaving little Squirt without her best friend but she kept her sweet spirit and kept going strong. Squirt is a 4–5-year-old blonde Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua mix) with the most striking golden eyes and a truly unique look. She may be small, but she has a big personality! Squirt is playful and confident and doesn’t mind interacting with dogs much larger than herself. Her feelings about cats are still unknown. She would likely thrive with a loving family and children age 4+ who can play with her, but she would also make a wonderful companion for an older adult looking for a loyal little sidekick. Squirt is housebroken and walks nicely on a leash once the initial excitement of being outside settles down. She has recently started crate training it’s not her favorite place yet, but she settles fairly quickly. Her favorite things include: ☀️ Being around her people 🌳 Playing outside 😴 Taking cozy naps in the sun Squirt is truly a lovely, lively little dog with a lot of character and heart, and she’s ready to find a forever home where she can be loved the way she deserves.

Due to recent divorce need to rehome minature daschunds. Oscar is a 19 month old male wire haired mini daschund. Approximately 15 pounds. He is sweet, mellow and funny. He has a step-sister (unrelated), Wilhemina, that he has been with him since 3 months old. I would prefer to rehome them together if possible. No health issues. Moderate activity level. Great cuddler and lots of wiggles! No experience with children or cats.
