Hi! My name is Mela and I'm a female beagle/chihuahua mix weighing in at 11 pounds. I'm around 9 years old, and I love to walk, smell the ground, and wag my tail. I love everyone I meet and if you're my person, I would love to snuggle next to you as much as you allow. Otherwise, give me a soft dog bed and I'm happy! My perfect person would be someone home a great deal and loves to have me snuggle next to you! I'm very curious and like to watch everything you do! I get along great with my doggy brothers and sisters and I think I'd get along with cats, if I ever meet one! However, I'd love to be your one and only and get all your attention! I have a few mobility issues, but they mainly keep me from jumping up on things or from just standing for long periods of time. I can handle steps well, can run, and jump down from a couch! My doctor found a mass on my spleen, so I had surgery to have it removed! It was benign, so I'm doing really well! I didn't have a very good dental plan at my last place, so I'm missing quite a few teeth, but I'm still able to eat dry kibble and treats, so all good! I can sleep very nicely in my crate at night, although I wouldn't be sad if you let me stay on your bed! I'm doing really well with my potty training as long as you are paying attention to me!
