I got him when he was a puppy fresh out of High school. He just turned 14 on March 22nd. He loves to sleep next to you or on your lap. He is a loving dog that protects you. He is very loyal and is always happy to see you. He loves to get tucked in at night in his bed and loves to have his head scratched. I need a loving home for him. Someone who needs a friend to cheer them up. He will for sure never make you feel lonely. He means so much to me so please someone who will just take good care of him.

Tiny's Story ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Tiny is looking for a home! 🩷 Tiny came to RT4P after they were found on the side of the road. Thankfully the grass was low due to the time of year and someone spotted them. Their foster mom Sarah took her in along with 4 siblings. The plan was to split them up but they literally all 5 fit in a cat bed they were so small so they ended up fostering all 5 and they did an amazing job! Tiny weighed 3 lbs at her last vet visit on 2/24. She was approximately 10 weeks old. She looks to be a Chiweenie mix but one thing for sure she is 100% adorable! 🐶 Adopters must live in the DFW area 🐶 Adopters must have a fully fenced in yard (no apartment homes), 🐶 Current/ past pets must have/had a good vaccine record, spayed/neutered, and have/had proof of a consistent history of heartworm prevention. 🐶 homes require children at least 5 years of age If you would like to meet Tiny, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Story
I picked him up about 2 ish years ago on the side of the road one morning. Didn’t even bother finding the owner since he was in such bad shape. Took him in for all shots, groomed, etc. He did well with my other 2 dogs and does well with my parents dogs. He is extremely skittish of everything. He has never outgrown that trait. He’s completely fine with me or my family or even friends who don’t come over every day, but if someone new comes into the house or he sees someone walking down the street, and they startle him. He will bark a lot, and all the hair on his back will stand up like he’s mean, but he’s really not. He is very sweet when you love on him and would be best as probably a homebody with no kids and no other dogs. Just needs someone to love on him only and a lot. He’s not very social, and I don’t think I would put him around kids. Very sweet, just does not fit my love style of going everywhere with my other dogs.

Hello! We got Bailee from Dallas Animal Shelter. We saw her and fell in love with her. She grew up to be such a sweet, loving dog. She is also pretty calm. Bailee is currently 7 1/2 months. Her birthday is August 17th 2025. We have small dogs and I feel like she is a bit too much for them. Bailee would be amazing with bigger dogs her size or just her and a family❤️. We love her dearly but would love to find a home for her that would love her forever 🩷
