This is Teddy, his is almost six years old and is a chihuahua mix. We got him in 2020 right after Covid and he is a bit of a Covid dog and unfortunately is unsocialized. My family and I have a very busy schedule so we not able to take him to dog parks as much as we would like to and that led to him having some behavioral and barking problems. He’s a sweet boy once he meets you but he does bark. We unfortunately didn’t have the funds to send him to behavior camp. We just moved and unfortunately neighbors are complaining about his barking. I’m very sad to have to give him away but i have no other choice. Please take good care of him. Thank you

Peach is a 9-year-old female Chihuahua mix whom I adopted in 2021 when she was estimated to be 5 years old. She is an incredibly loving, cuddly, and sweet companion who is beloved by everyone who knows her. Temperament: Peach, unlike many chihuahuas, rarely barks! She loves people and is wonderful with gentle children. She thrives on attention and absolutely loves getting belly rubs from visitors. She has good energy for her age—she can walk for 45 minutes and still chases squirrels enthusiastically—though she’s not particularly playful with toys. Social behavior: She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, especially males, as long as they approach her gently and don’t make her feel threatened. She can be a bit reactive to dogs that approach too quickly on the street, but she’s actually quite playful with calm dogs like our neighbor’s elderly golden retriever. Health: Overall good; needs dental care

Learn more hereWe have learned that Gianna is very sweet even though she can be extremely shy at first. She came to the shelter with little training and is working on all of her skills including potty training, leash, walking and socialization. She takes many of her cues from the dogs in her foster household and would greatly benefit from being adopted by a household with a resident dog who is patient and playful. She takes her time to trust humans and is shy of most things in the world.  She enjoys spending time outside and has figured out how to use the dog door in her foster home. She is independent and likes to spend time by herself, but this may also be as she is wary of unfamiliar humans.
