Story
Copper is a very special boy looking for a special home with someone who can continue to work with him and help him to become the best dog he can be. The first 6 months of his life are unknown to us, but they were rough. In his home environment he is a goofy boy who loves to play with toys and chew on bones. Out in the real world he is skittish and fearful of everything. We have been walking the downtown area almost daily and Copper is facing his 3 biggest fears: car rides, walking on a leash, and meeting new people. He is showing steady improvement and is starting to enjoy the walks, wag his tail, and sniff at the occasional passerby. Copper is crate trained (we never leave him in longer than 4 hours), housebroken, does not destroy people things, and sleeps all night in his own room. Copper is being rehomed after an altercation with one of our other dogs. He has some pretty severe jealousy issues and needs to be an ONLY DOG. He loves his people and does not want to share.

I have had him since he 8 weeks old he is German shepherd, anatolian shepherd, great Pyrenees. Blue tick hound mix he is update on his shots he is 1 y 4 m old now. I will give vet information on date of adoption. I have tried training him and working him. I just can't keep up with him and I'm taking care of 2 children with disabilities and they have a lot medical stuff and we are not home enough do trips to Denver. He not a bad dog he needs someone with a little bit more time that take him places let him run but his recall sucks, when he goes he wont stop or return to you when call him. He energetic, become food aggressive with table food is available. He barks a lot. He been around other dogs but wont leave them alone he constantly in their faces or chases them wanting to play and he gotten into fights with other dogs do to the other dogs don't want to be bothered by him.He jumps up on people out of excitement. He chases cats and tries to hurt them. He does good with kids and babies.
