Story
Ambrose just turned two years old, he came to us as a tiny little far too young puppy and has grown into a very good dog. He does have some anxiety around new people and may take a minute to warm up but when he does you will see he is the sweetest, cuddliest boy who loves curling up in bed and playing with his toys. He has been raised around another dog and cats and has never had any issues with them. With how much attention he likes, he may prefer a home all to himself, but also won't complain if he has siblings. He is crate trained and his only real quirk is that he'd prefer any special treats (bones, bully sticks, etc) to be eaten in his crate. It breaks out heart to have to rehome him, but sadly it is necessary as we are moving and cannot take him with us.

Story
Meet Moochie, a super cute ~3-4 year old neutered male chihuahua mix, weighing about 10 lbs! This sweet, spunky boy can be a little shy with new people, but he warms up quickly once he knows you are safe. He does well with other dogs (not cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats). He is not a fan of young children (honestly, we can't say we blame him! ), so he must go to an adult only home (or teenagers 15+ who know to respect a dog's space). He is medically up to date, mostly housebroken (expect accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained. Apply to meet this adorable little guy today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2594633##

Story
Meet Nay Nay, a super cute adult spayed female long haired chihuahua mix, weighing about 10 lbs! This sweet girl found herself at an overcrowded kill shelter in east TN, where she was very scared. We took her into rescue and placed her in a loving foster home, and she is now ready to head to New England to find her furever home! Nay Nay is good with other dogs and people. She has not been cat tested, however we feel she would likely do fine with cats. She has not been around young kids, so we are unsure how she would do with them.  She is medically up to date, mostly housebroken (expect accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained. Apply to meet this pretty girl today! **Nay Nay will not be available until our 1/11/26 adoption event at Petco in Dayville, CT. We are accepting applications on her now! We will prioritize applicants who are able to attend the 1/11 event. If Nay Nay is not adopted at the event, we will move on to other applicants.** Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable.
