He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. He would fit perfectly into any household and is looking for someone to love his sweet underbite smile as much as we do.  Apply to meet him today!  ##1999722##

Story
Meet Aurora, the Roman Goddess of the Dawn. She is affectionate and sweet 8lb puppy who embraces life enthusiastically. She starts each day with eyes wide open ready to explore any new adventure. She loves all dogs, especially those of similar size. She requests her future home to have another dog and be willing and able to enroll her in a training class as she is very smart. She would be safest in a securely fenced yard as she is very resourceful and could easily escape. Aurora is pee pad trained but is adapting well to house-training. Her new home would need to continue encouraging this transition. To be considered to adopt Aurora please complete an application on our website www.spottydogrescue.org. ##1865559##

Story
Please apply to adopt at www.brasscityrescue.org Snoopy may be just three years old, but he already has the charm and cuteness to win your heart. This handsome boy was surrendered by his owner, but it was no fault of his own. Despite this, Snoopy never loses his adorable looks, even when he does something a little shady. One of Snoopy's special traits is that he always looks amazing, no matter what. But that's not all – he has also been doing great with crate training, so he's well on his way to becoming the perfect house companion. He would love a home with a fenced yard or a pen area connected to the house, as he can be a bit of a flight risk. This little guy is busy, energetic, and always up for some playtime. But at the same time, he loves being a constant companion, a best friend, and a lap animal. Snoop Dog is an affectionate and playful pup, but can be very shy at first. He's looking for a patient and loving family who will help him with potty training and socialization with people. He loves the car and he's a serial licker once he warms up! This chonk is a velcro dog! Snoopy gets along well with other dogs and cats, but older kids would be the best fit for him as he's still getting used to being around different-sized humans. He would also do well with a companion animal. He really needs a buddy to be with. He's from a house of several dogs, let us know if you want to adopt one of his buddies (wink wink). If you're looking for a cuddly, cute, and fun-loving addition to your family, Snoopy is your guy! We promise he'll melt your heart with his adorable looks and playful personality. Give Snoopy the home he deserves and make him a part of your family.

Story
Apply to adopt at www.brasscityrescue.org Meet Yoda, the tiniest little beast you've ever seen. This handsome male chihuahua may be small in size, but his personality is larger than life. At just 4 years old and weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds, Yoda is the perfect lap animal for someone who wants an energetic and affectionate companion. Yoda was surrendered by his previous owner, who had a whole house full of pets. But this little alpha didn't quite fit in with the other animals, making him feel lonely and out of place. He may get bossy with small dogs, so we are no longer sure if he should live with one. He might just want to have friends and no canine siblings. Don't let his size fool you; Yoda has a big, independent streak. He loves nothing more than sitting in your lap, soaking up all the affection and then suddenly bursting into energetic zoomies around the house. He's the perfect balance of cuddly and playful, making him the ideal companion for someone who wants the best of both worlds. But, beware, Yoda is not your average chihuahua. He has a bit of a feisty side, especially when it comes to the vet. He may be a psycho there, but we promise he's an absolute sweetheart at home. He just needs some help with potty training and socialization with new people. But once he gets to know you, he'll be your constant and loving companion. Yoda is still getting used to different-sized humans, so teenage kids are better for him right now. He barks at small kids because he doesn't know what they are. A quieter house would be better for him. So, if you're looking for a tiny but mighty addition to your family, look no further than Yoda. He's ready to be your loyal and quirky companion, and all he needs is a loving home to call his own. Come meet Yoda today and see if he's the missing puzzle piece in your life. Yoda is waiting to be your faithful companion and bring love and laughter into your home.

Story
Please apply at www.brasscityrescue.org This sweet female chihuahua might be small in size, but her heart is large and full of love. At just 4 years old and weighing only 7 pounds, Lucy is the perfect lap dog for someone looking for a loyal companion. She may have been surrendered by her previous owner, but it was certainly no fault of her own. And now, she's ready to find a new family who will cherish her always. Lucy may be petite, but she is certainly not short on cuteness. Her adorable face and playful nature will melt your heart in an instant. She loves nothing more than snuggling up in your lap and being showered with love and affection. But don't be fooled by her laid back demeanor, because once she gets comfortable, she's full of energy and ready to play. It's the perfect balance for a happy and fulfilling life together. This little lady is full of love and has a friendly and gentle personality that will make you fall in love with her instantly. She's easygoing and loves nothing more than being around people. While she may need some time to warm up to new faces, she's a quick learner and will be your best friend in no time. Plus, she prefers being around adults and would thrive in a home with teenage children who can match her energy and give her the love she deserves. She's working on her house training but is doing well with pee pads at the shelter. Lucy also gets along well with other small dogs and would love to have a furry sibling to play and cuddle with. She just needs a little more human socialization to bring out her true potential. But rest assured, since being in our care, she's become more comfortable and friendly with everyone she meets. While Lucy may have had a rough start, her affectionate and happy nature shines through, making her the perfect addition to any loving home. So if you're ready to open your heart and home to this lovable little lady, we promise she will shower you with endless love and joy. Come meet Lucy today and give her the forever home she deserves. Trust us, you won't regret it!"

Story
Please apply at www.brasscityrescue.org Hi there, my name is Delilah and I'm a 3-year-old female chihuahua. Unfortunately, my previous owners had to surrender me, but it wasn't my fault at all. I'm a gorgeous and petite girl, weighing only 7 pounds, and I'm looking for someone who will love me and give me a safe and secure home. I may seem shy at first, but I promise I'll warm up to you once we get to know each other. I'm a constant companion and love to be in someone's lap, so having a loving and patient owner would be ideal for me. I'm also a people pleaser, and nothing makes me happier than seeing my humans happy. I may need a bit more socialization with humans, but I do get along well with other dogs. I just need a companion animal to show me the ropes and boost my confidence. I would also need a crate for a safe space, and a fenced yard or pen would give me the freedom to explore without getting lost. I may be a bit of a flight risk, but with some love and patience, I know I'll become more comfortable in this big world. I promise to be an affectionate, gentle, and quiet presence in your life, always ready to snuggle up and give you kisses. If you're willing to give me a chance and be my forever family, please come and meet me. I can't wait to show you just how much love and happiness I can bring into your life. Thank you for considering me, and I hope to see you soon!

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I have been trying to post this little boy for more than a week and just do not know what to say about his breed.  His mother is an 11 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua.  She was picked up from the streets after giving birth in a field.  I got her and the 2 boys when they were just 1 week old.  They have been in my home thriving greatly. Since momma was out in the streets we do not know who daddy is, sorry.  Bobby is 4.6 pounds and 9 weeks old.  He does favor mom.  He is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Boots.  I have included a picture of mom. They play constantly and love when I let them out of the puppy play pen to play with the bigger dogs.  They run zoomies all around the living room.   These are very very good and loving puppies and should make great family pets whatever they are mixed with. Both boys have had 2 vaccinations and due their 3rd one next week so they will come fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and microchipped.  They are too young right now for a rabies. We transport to most state across the country.  Thank you for looking. If interested, please submit an application on our website at www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         April 26, 2024, 10:28 am
