Story
Meet Kanto! A tiny guardian with a big heart, just waiting for the right person to unlock it. Kanto forms a deep, loyal bond with “her person,” and once you’re in her circle, you’ll discover a sweet, snuggly companion who loves lounging on the couch, curling up in bed, and simply being close. She’s playful, too! Kanto enjoys romping around with other pups and happily entertains herself with a good chew (antlers are a favorite). Kanto is looking for a very dog-savvy, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She can be fearful of new people and may bark or react when she feels unsure, so it’s important to let her set the pace and respect her boundaries as she learns she’s safe. With consistency and kindness, she truly blossoms into a wonderful companion. She’s already doing great with pee pad training and has a healthy appetite, no picky eater here! Kanto is also making progress with being handled and picked up, especially in the comfort of her home. A fenced yard would be ideal for Kanto as she builds confidence, and she would do best skipping walks at first until she feels fully secure in her new environment. Kanto may take a little extra time, but for the right person, she’s an incredibly rewarding friend, loyal, and loving!

Story
Howdy y’all! Rudy Tooty Fresh and Fruity here, reporting for cuddle duty and backyard zoomies! Rudy may be fun-sized, but his personality is anything but small. When you first meet him, he might tiptoe into your heart a little shy and unsure. Give him a little time, though, and you’ll watch him bloom into the sweetest, silliest, most lovable sidekick you could ask for. Rudy is a social butterfly in the making and absolutely thrives with other dogs. In fact, he’s looking for a home with at least one confident pup buddy to show him the ropes. His Australian Shepherd foster sister has been his ultimate partner-in-crime for playtime in the yard, and once the zoomies are out of his system, he’s more than happy to join his chihuahua foster brothers for a cozy couch cuddle session. He’s proven to be patient, gentle, and a great little friend to dogs of all personalities. A fenced yard would be a dream come true for Rudy, giving him space to play, explore, and build confidence. His toy of choice? Anything with a squeaker… though fair warning, squeakers tend to have a very short lifespan in his care. 🎾 Rudy is currently working on his potty training and does great when kept on a routine. He’s also learned to use potty pads for backup situations. While he hasn’t spent time in a crate yet, his foster family believes he’s smart and eager enough to pick that up quickly. At the end of the day, Rudy is a gentle soul with a playful spark, just waiting for the right home to help him shine. If you’re ready for a loyal little companion (and maybe a few squeaker casualties along the way), Rudy is ready to ride off into the sunset with you.

Story
Tater is 2 year old bunny in a bully dog body and even though we've had him since he was a puppy, my senior dog has decided he is not welcome. We know Tater's mom was a medium-sized blue Frenchie, based on his appearance and goofiness we're guessing dad was a fence jumping boxer-type dog. He's about 55lbs, fully vetted, crate trained, loves his other dog friends, respects the cats if they stand their ground, but will chase if they run (won't hurt them, just annoy them). He will jump a fence, he gets that from his daddy. He's been great with kids thus far, but he does bounce like a boxer, so maybe older kids are best. Tater is also currently a blood donor and I'd love for his new family to continue this service. By being a blood donor every 2 months he gets his annual vet care, food, and preventatives covered. I have not come to this decision lightly; he is a loved member of the family, and I'm heartbroken that my senior dog has decided he can't share our home.
