Story
Meet Kodi! Kodi is the kind of dog who needs a little time before he lets his true personality shine, but once he does, you’ll discover the sweetest, most loyal companion imaginable. When he first came into his foster home, the world felt pretty scary. He spent most of his time quietly tucked away in his bed, unsure of new people, sounds, and surroundings. But with patience, consistency, and lots of love, Kodi slowly started building confidence and learning that life can actually be pretty wonderful.
Now? Kodi is a total sweetheart. He’s affectionate, gentle, and happiest curled up beside his people as a full-time couch potato. He’s potty trained, loves being near his humans, and will happily follow you from room to room just so he doesn’t have to be alone. He’s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and just wants to feel safe and loved.
Kodi also discovered that having dog friends is pretty great too! Once comfortable, he became playful and social with other dogs, and he’s even become best friends with his foster’s Pitbull, who apparently reserved their friendship VIP pass just for him. He loves playing outside, romping with canine buddies, and soaking up the simple joys of being a dog.
Like many younger pups still learning the ropes, Kodi can occasionally be a little destructive, but it’s manageable and continues to improve with guidance and training.
Kodi will thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to settle in and blossom at his own pace.
