Ginger came to us at a little over 2 months old. She was full of worms and we had to go through a lot to get her healthy. We have small children and they keep getting knocked down and scratched by her. She's not aggressive by any means she is just excited, however we have to make the diffult choice of giving her to another family that is more capable of meeting her needs.

Hello, my name is Nutella. I was recently surrendered due to my parents no longer being able to afford their home. I lived with them for my whole 3 years of life and never met any other humans or left the house, so I didn't even know that other humans existed aside from my owners. Becuase of that, I am very untrusting and terrified of everything. I am currently in a lovely foster home and making very slow progress. Whoever adopts me will need to be exceptionally patient with me as they teach me that humans are not so scary. With enough time (3+ months) I do believe I will be a great little companion, as I was very snuggly and playful with my old owners. I did live with another dog my size previously, so maybe another friendly small dog could help bring me out of my shell. Due to my nervousness, a quiet home without children or much in and out traffic would be the best fit. Could that be you?
