Story
Mucho: A Spunky Adventurer in a 15lb Package! If you’re looking for a dog with a "spicy-sweet" soul and a love for life, meet Mucho! Mucho came to PMAR as a "New Hope Only" rescue after being overwhelmed by the shelter environment. Since arriving at his foster home, he has blossomed into a playful, active little guy who is always ready to explore. While he can be a bit shy at first, once Mucho knows he’s safe, his "on the go" personality takes over! The Ideal Match: Mucho thrives in a calm, patient household where he can settle in at his own pace. Because he’s a sensitive soul, he’d do best with older children (15+) and families who understand that trust is earned. He’s a social butterfly with other small dogs and is even cat-friendly! At just over 2 years old and 15 lbs, Mucho is the perfect size for neighborhood walks and cozy couch snuggles. He is looking for a human hero who sees the brave, playful dog he’s become.    All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care before adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spaying or neutering, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment.    A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required.    Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Story
Zoe is about 3 years old. I adopted her about a year ago. She is a bundle of love toward humans. She wants desperately to love and be loved. She adores belly rubs and will happily let you do so all day. She can be a bit needy, but she is completely crate trained. She loves playing fetch and still sometimes decides it's time to try and catch that tail. Unfortunately she has started showing unprovoked aggression toward my senior dog, which is why I am seeking to rehome her. She needs to be the only dog in a home. She has been around cats and hasn't shown any particular interest in them, but I wouldn't say it's been enough exposure to really say if she is good around them. She hasn't been around kids. I'd imagine she'd be good, if excitable around them. She does have some issues with jumping on people, especially when first meeting them. I have been working with her on that and she has gotten better, but it would be best for her to be in a home without any elderly who might be unsteady.
