Story
Jazzy is a 5 year old pit/boxer/Australian/German shepherd. Although she has a lot of high energy blood in her, her favorite place to be is curled up next to you on the couch under her favorite blanket. Jazzy is looking for a home with no other animals or small children. Her owners would love to see jazzy thrive the way she deserves. Jazzy is completely house broken and will let you know when she has to go. She does not counter surf. She loves walks and is great on the leash. She is crate trained and knows so many tricks and loves to learn. Jazzy grew up in a college town and loved it there, getting to see all of her adult human friends hanging out. She would do well in a home with no yard as long as she is taken out on a leash. She does enjoy soaking up the sun though so a yard with some sticks and a nice lounge spot would be great! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet  Mowie , a charming Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a survival story as cool as the storm he escaped!   Born around  August 4, 2024 , and weighing in at a sturdy  15.9 pounds , Mowie is the definition of a "tough guy with a heart of gold." He was discovered hanging around the guard shack at  Randolph AFB  just as a major ice storm was rolling in. The kind-hearted guards had been sharing their lunches with him to keep him going, but they knew he needed a warm hearth to survive the freeze.   Mowie is a truly great boy who is ready to trade base security for home security. He does have one quirky "occupational hazard": he’s a bit of a serial humper when it comes to other dogs, which hasn't always won him friends at the park. However, he was  recently neutered , and we are optimistic that this will help him keep his "enthusiasm" in check as his hormones settle down.   Mowie’s Stats: Birthday:  ~08/04/2024 (approx. 1.5 years old) Weight:  15.9 lbs Background:  Air Force Base veteran & lunch-sharing expert Personality:  Resilient, social, and brave If you’re looking for a loyal companion who has been "cleared for duty," Mowie is your man!
