Story
Jazzy deserves the world and she is not getting that right now. She is a 5 year old pit/boxer/Australian/German shepherd. Her favorite place to be is curled up next to you on the couch under her favorite blanket, or on a walk anywhere you want to go. Jazzy is looking for a home with no other animals or small children. She would do well with a college setting or a house with grown kids. Jazzy is completely house broken and will let you know when she has to go. She does not counter surf. She loves walks and is great on the leash. She is crate trained or able to free roam and knows so many tricks and loves to learn. Jazzy grew up in a college town and loved it there, getting to see all of her adult human friends hanging out. She would do well in a home with no yard as long as she is taken out on a leash. She does enjoy soaking up the sun though so a yard with some sticks and a nice lounge spot would be great! Let us know today if you would love the opportunity to meet this beautiful girl!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet  Mowie , a charming Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a survival story as cool as the storm he escaped!   Born around  August 4, 2024 , and weighing in at a sturdy  15.9 pounds , Mowie is the definition of a "tough guy with a heart of gold." He was discovered hanging around the guard shack at  Randolph AFB  just as a major ice storm was rolling in. The kind-hearted guards had been sharing their lunches with him to keep him going, but they knew he needed a warm hearth to survive the freeze.   Mowie is a truly great boy who is ready to trade base security for home security. He does have one quirky "occupational hazard": he’s a bit of a serial humper when it comes to other dogs, which hasn't always won him friends at the park. However, he was  recently neutered , and we are optimistic that this will help him keep his "enthusiasm" in check as his hormones settle down.   Mowie’s Stats: Birthday:  ~08/04/2024 (approx. 1.5 years old) Weight:  15.9 lbs Background:  Air Force Base veteran & lunch-sharing expert Personality:  Resilient, social, and brave If you’re looking for a loyal companion who has been "cleared for duty," Mowie is your man! You can apply for him at www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $300.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 1:30 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Fritz! Fritz is the shyest of his litter, and this sweet boy is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. Fritz and his three siblings were sadly dumped in a cardboard box at an apartment complex, but thankfully, they are now safe and getting ready to find families of their own. The big world can be a little intimidating for Fritz at first. Give him a little time, and you’ll see a completely different puppy emerge.  He loves to play, explore, and enjoy all the fun things puppyhood has to offer. Like any young puppy, Fritz will need basic puppy training, patience, consistency, and plenty of positive experiences to help him grow into a confident, happy companion. Fritz’s adoption fee is $400, which includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations, and staying current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Fritz is currently in Texas but can travel to Washington, Portland, Oregon, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and along the East Coast. If transportation is needed, there is an additional $250 transport fee. Unfortunately, due to state regulations, Fritz cannot travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts. Apply to adopt Fritz at www.adoggie4you.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 3, 2026, 5:35 pm
