Est. DOB: 09/20/24 Current Weight: 12lbs   Meet Meo!!  This little Chi/Terrier Mix pup is 12lbs of pure puppy charm!! Meo is playful, people-loving and full of curious energy. He is currently living in a foster home with other small dogs and does well with all of them. His favorites are the ones who love to play. His ideal forever home would be one with school aged children and another young, playful dog to match his energy. Meo is still a pup and will need continued training, he is super smart and a fast learner, and those unique leg spots - he's one of a kind!!  Meo is kennel trained (although he may cry a little at first in a new home - he's still a baby) and doing great on a leash. He is also potty trained (please expect an adjustment period in his new home)   Please consider making this cute little guy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.  This can be found on our website at   https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1     $200 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (Meo is negative), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed, age, and size categorizations are estimates.    If transporting out of state to available locations, the total adoption cost will be $500. This amount is inclusive of adoption fee, transport fee, health certificate, and taxes. June 5, 2025, 1:53 pm

Story
Wendy is a super friendly young dog. She is kennel trained in house trained. She will not jump on furniture however she does like to run out the door as soon as she sees an open door she also enjoys, licking people a lot, and jumping on them she is a mutt that was adopted from the Humane Society. She is up-to-date on all of her vaccines and annual care the groomer and border both say that she’s great with other animals and all of their staff we however, just gave birth to a child with special needs and don’t have the time to dedicate to her anymore.
