Story
Est. DOB: 1/19/16 Current Weight: 8lbs Meet Pancho Pancho is a Chihuahua with a heart far bigger than his tiny frame. He was lucky enough to spend most of his life in a loving home with a devoted mom who adored him. When she passed away, Pancho ’s world was turned upside down. After family members realized they could not care for him and his brother, JD, Almost Home graciously welcomed both boys into their foster program—giving Pancho a safe place to land and a chance at a new beginning. Don’t let his age fool you— Pancho has the perfect senior balance. He still enjoys playtime and exploring outdoors, but he’s just as happy settling in for peaceful snuggles when it’s time to relax. He adapted quickly to his foster home and has become a cherished member of his “pack of littles.” Pancho is funny, expressive, and full of personality. He loves giving affection and soaking it right back up. At night, he happily burrows under a fluffy blanket and enjoys all the love he can get. In the mornings, he starts the day by jumping into his foster mom’s lap, snuggling into her neck, and asking—very enthusiastically—for extended cuddle time. Pancho would be a wonderful addition to a family looking for a lot of love in a tiny package. He does well with other small dogs, has been around adults and older children without issue, and is easily adaptable. Most of all, he will work very hard to win your heart—and once he does, he’s all yours. Pancho would do best in a home where humans were home most of the time or willing to take him on car rides, walks, or to the pet store. Pancho : small dog, big love, endless snuggles.
