Chico just needs love and affection and he will be your best pal! Chico is around other small dogs in his foster home but prefers the company of humans. He is looking for a home where there are no children under 10 years old. Please consider making this gorgeous boy a member of your family. She gets along well with our 4 other dogs and is very laid back. She loves to snuggle and receive lots of love! Honey seems to be house trained. She walks well on a leash and would be a great companion dog for anyone looking for a new friend. She does not bark much at all and is mostly quiet. She minds well. Honey is just as sweet as her name! Honey is in a foster home with other dogs that she does well with. Whomever had Honey before didn’t take care of her, so she is heartworm positive. But fear not! She is on the slow kill treatment approach that is easier on her. Kafu is trying to get through this scary part of his life and hoping someone will help him. He was found as a stray and stayed with his finder for five days. He rode well in his car and willing accepted treats. He was not around other animals or people. He was quiet and tried not to be a bother to anyone. Now that he is at the shelter, he is finding the environment rather alarming. He is shy and timid and afraid of most people right now so he'll need to live with kids at least nine years old who are well behaved and don't scare him. If you have a dog, you should bring it to meet him. Hopefully it will make him feel more secure to have a dog buddy. Outside he won't walk on a leash either due to fear or the fact that he maybe has never been on one. He may be house trained because he seems to know to do his business outside for please be patient if he isn't. He is submissive and very docile. When he accepts you, he may roll over on his back for a belly rub. He shows no aggression when being handled but it will take him time to adjust. Please move slowly when you meet him. He may let you carry him but don't rush it. He may be the most wonderful companion once he is comfortable and secure in his surroundings. He weighs 11 pounds and fits nicely on a lap.
