Lemon loaf is one of a kind! She has the head & legs of a chihuahua and the body of a husky/lab. She is the most precious low rider. She does have hypothyroidism and will be on medication for the rest of her life, but it's not expensive. She will be loosing weight as her hormones adjust to the meds. She lives in a foster home with 4 other dogs and 5 kids. She enjoys being by her foster moms side and doing her own thing. Blackberry and Lemonloaf came from a terrible neglect situation. They were abandoned in a condemned home for weeks. She is very sweet, dog friendly, kid friendly.

🐾❤️ Meet Stella! Looking for Her Perfect Forever Home! ❤️🐾 Stella is a beautiful, playful, energetic girl with a huge personality and lots of love to give! I adopted Stella from LifeLine Animal Project eight days ago, hoping she would be a companion for my Saint Bernard, Comet, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma. Unfortunately, Stella’s energy level is much higher than what our household can safely manage. She loves to play but hasn’t quite learned boundaries or when another animal has had enough. She’s also very interested in chasing cats, so I believe a cat-free home would be best. Stella can get overly excited and mouthy during play, so she would benefit from an experienced adopter who can provide consistent training, structure, exercise, and patience. She’s not a bad dog! Stetson is looking for a family to call his own. He adores people and wants nothing more than to please and be near the ones he loves. He seems to be friendly towards other dogs with similar energy levels and has not been tested with small dogs and cats. Stetson was adopted from us in 2023 and was left in a very upsetting situation. Stetson is now at the Rescue Ranch and is safe now. We want to make sure this boy gets the home he deserves, where he doesn't have to worry about being left behind. This boy deserves a home with a fenced yard, a loving family ( like all dogs should have) and lot's of playtime. He is a sweet boy and just wants someone to love him too. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. All cats are current on vaccines/deworming, and microchipped. We are open 12pm-5pm Sunday-Friday and 10 am-5pm on Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. Zeus is a sweet, goofy, high-energy Chowsky puppy who is currently around 35–45 lbs at about 18 weeks old. If you’ve seen the new DCU Superman, he’s basically a little Krypto lol. He’s playful, curious, goofy, and always ready to be involved in whatever you are doing. Zeus is still very much a puppy and needs someone who has the time and patience for training. He hasn’t had much socialization with other dogs yet, so his behavior around dogs is unknown. He will chase cats, although he has not shown aggression toward them. Around children, he can get overly excited, knock them over, and nip, so a home with older children or adults who understand puppy behavior would probably be the best fit.

Meet Dutchess, a beautiful 5-year-old husky-chow mix with a gentle heart and an independent spirit. She’s the perfect blend of sweet and a little aloof—happy to be near her people, but also content doing her own thing. Dutchess is very smart, though she can have a bit of a stubborn streak, so she’ll thrive with an adopter who appreciates her independent nature and can provide consistent guidance. She does well with kids and has a calm, easygoing presence in the home. She’s both crate trained and housebroken, making her an easy addition to a structured household. She enjoys her routines and settles in nicely once she feels comfortable. Like many dogs with a strong prey drive, Dutchess loves to chase, so a home without cats is a must. She’s also quite the escape artist and has a true love for running and exploring. Because of this, she will require a home with a secure, tall privacy fence to keep her safe while she enjoys the outdoors. Because of her tendency to bolt, we’re looking for a home without very young or small children—just to ensure everyone stays safe and stress-free.
