Story
This fluffy boy is Bandit! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 1/17. His family was contacted, and instead of coming to reclaim him they surrendered him to the shelter. Sadly, they left no information about him. The volunteers describe Bandit as shy and quiet, but this may be due to the loud and overwhelming shelter environment. He is also very cute and sweet, and he walks nicely on leash. Bandit is approximately 5 years old, and weighs 52 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered upon adoption. Please come meet Bandit in kennel 84; his ID # is 16422. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Lemon loaf is one of a kind! She has the head & legs of a chihuahua and the body of a husky/lab. She is the most precious low rider. She does have hypothyroidism and will be on medication for the rest of her life, but it's not expensive. She will be loosing weight as her hormones adjust to the meds. She lives in a foster home with 4 other dogs and 5 kids. She enjoys being by her foster moms side and doing her own thing. Blackberry and Lemonloaf came from a terrible neglect situation. They were abandoned in a condemned home for weeks. She is very sweet, dog friendly, kid friendly.

Story
Frosty was gifted to us from a family member as a puppy. He is now 1.5 years old and has grown to be very playful and curious. Frosty's energy never runs out and loves to be outside. He loves accompanying you on walks and cuddles Frosty has spent most of his life outside roaming around the neighborhood and tethered. This has become a problem to people walking by because he tends to be defensive and bark. He prefers being outside but when he is inside, he knows to let you know when he needs to relieve himself. Unfortunately our schedules are too busy and we don't have the time he deserves. We'd love for him to go to a loving home where he can get the attention he needs.

Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Liam was found in the mountains with his littermates when he was just 3 months old, and was rescued right before the scheduled euthanasia. He’s been living at the shelter ever since, and sadly hasn’t had a single chance to be fostered. With his adorable freckles, Liam is patiently waiting for a chance to finally experience the comfort of a loving home and a warm meal🙏 • Personality: Affectionate, Gentle, Friendly Liam doesn’t shy away from new people—even adult men! He absolutely loves being around all the volunteers and getting affection. He’s a sweet, charming boy who’ll melt your heart with his cuddly nature and the way he asks for pets😍 / His energy level is moderate! He plays gently with toys without destroying them and knows how to rest quietly in his own space without showing signs of separation anxiety. • Affinity with - Dogs: He gets along really well with dogs who share a similar play style, but may have minor squabbles with those who don’t match his play style. - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / Not tested with kids • Walking Manners: Although his walking experience is limited due to life at the shelter, he follows the handler’s lead well and walks calmly on a leash! • Housetrained: He will need some time and guidance with house training as he adjusts to a home environment. He will probably prefer the outdoors once he has regular walks. • Bathing/Brushing: For brushing and baths, he’s super cooperative—he stays close and makes it easy! • Car Sickness: Not tested • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: He may bark when he hears unfamiliar or sudden sounds, as they can startle him. • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 6 • Likes/Dislikes: He lives for pets and cuddles! • Health: A healthy pup! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee.
