Story
Tessa is a gentle, thoughtful girl who takes her time getting to know new people but shows a sweet, curious side once she feels comfortable. Shes easy to leash with a little treat encouragement, walks with minimal pulling, and enjoys quiet strolls where she can sniff and explore. Volunteers describe her as soft-mannered, polite, and very treat motivated; shell sit beautifully and check in often for another gentle snack.

In the yard, she likes to wander, take in her surroundings, and return for treats or reassurance. Tessa responds well to patience and kind handling.

If youre looking for a calm, sweet companion who appreciates gentle routines and soft connection, Tessa is ready to meet you.

Story
Meet Coco! Coco was surrendered to the shelter on 8/19 because her family travels frequently and could no longer give her the time and care she deserves. Her former family shared that she is house-trained, good with children, and dog-friendly. Volunteers describe Coco as a true beauty with a gorgeous coat and an equally beautiful personality! She's friendly, playful, and a dream to walk on leash. She even sits when asked—what a good girl! Coco is ready to find a loving family who will adore her as much as we do. Coco is approximately 6 years old and weighs 67 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Coco did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care she can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives treatment. Coco is waiting patiently in kennel 831; her ID # is 21893. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
About Roddy 🐾❤️ Roddy is a sweet, affectionate 1-year-old pup born July 28, 2025. He is playful, friendly, and full of love! He loves cuddling, going on walks, playing with other dogs, and does well around cats. Roddy is the type of dog who wants to be close to his person and will happily become your little shadow. ❤️ Roddy does have separation anxiety, so he needs a patient and understanding adopter. He becomes very attached, doesn’t enjoy being crated or left alone, and may howl when separated. He would do best with someone who is home often and willing to patiently help him become more comfortable and secure. Roddy needs companionship, consistency, exercise, reassurance, and lots of affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend and have the patience and time to give him the attention he needs, Roddy may be perfect for you. ❤️🐾 Serious inquiries only.

Story
About CinderellaCinderella 🐾❤️ is a Chowsky (Chow/Husky mix) with a big personality and a loving heart once she trusts you. She is smart, playful, and deeply loyal to her people. Please read fully before contacting. She needs an experienced, patient, confident adopter familiar with independent breeds. She is cautious with strangers and needs time—never rushed. She has a history of stress in a prior adoption where she snapped/nipped at the adopter multiple times and was returned the same day. No serious injury occurred, but she may nip or bite if frightened, overwhelmed, or not yet trusting. She is NOT suitable for inexperienced owners or those uncomfortable with dogs who need structure and space.Once bonded, she is affectionate, playful, and devoted.Serious, experienced inquiries only. I am seeking a permanent, understanding home willing to earn her trust patiently. ❤️🐾

Story
📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Liam was found in the mountains with his littermates when he was just 3 months old, and was rescued right before the scheduled euthanasia. He’s been living at the shelter ever since, and sadly hasn’t had a single chance to be fostered. With his adorable freckles, Liam is patiently waiting for a chance to finally experience the comfort of a loving home and a warm meal🙏 • Personality: Affectionate, Gentle, Friendly Liam doesn’t shy away from new people—even adult men! He absolutely loves being around all the volunteers and getting affection. He’s a sweet, charming boy who’ll melt your heart with his cuddly nature and the way he asks for pets😍 / His energy level is moderate! He plays gently with toys without destroying them and knows how to rest quietly in his own space without showing signs of separation anxiety. • Affinity with - Dogs: He gets along really well with dogs who share a similar play style, but may have minor squabbles with those who don’t match his play style. - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / Not tested with kids • Walking Manners: Although his walking experience is limited due to life at the shelter, he follows the handler’s lead well and walks calmly on a leash! • Housetrained: He will need some time and guidance with house training as he adjusts to a home environment. He will probably prefer the outdoors once he has regular walks. • Bathing/Brushing: For brushing and baths, he’s super cooperative—he stays close and makes it easy! • Car Sickness: Not tested • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: He may bark when he hears unfamiliar or sudden sounds, as they can startle him. • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 6 • Likes/Dislikes: He lives for pets and cuddles! • Health: A healthy pup! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
