Story
****ADOPTION APPLICATION HERE*** 🐾 I’m Truffles — 8 weeks old, 2.8 pounds, and just about as much puppy as you can fit into one tiny package. I’m a male Chihuahua mix, and I’m expected to stay a small boy when I grow up. That means I should be just the right size for laps, cuddles, car rides, and curling up beside my favorite human. Hi, by the way. How do you do? See? I’m already working on my manners. My foster mom is helping me get a head start on all the important puppy rules. I’m learning that pee-pee and poopy belong outside, and I’m working hard to become the kind of little gentleman my forever family will be proud of. I’m still just a baby, so I have plenty to learn, but I’m curious, loving, playful, and ready to grow up with humans of my very own. Right now, you only get to fall in love with me through my pictures. But if you decide I’m your boy, I may get to take the biggest adventure of my little life — flying home to my forever family. ✈️ I may only weigh 2.8 pounds, but I’ve already got some pretty big plans: Step one: Find my forever humans. Step two: Pack my very tiny suitcase. Step three: Fly home and completely steal their hearts. ❤️ To find out more information on this dog please apply to adopt on our website at www.caretx.org/adopt and CARE will be in touch with you ASAP! This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. The adoption fee of $995 covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, the kennel it travels in, and air transport. Please email adoptions@caretx.org * CARE rescue is in San Antonio, TX where we have a serious pet overpopulation situation. CARE is a non profit 501c3 rescue that has been saving lives for 14 years and with your adoption, we can help save even more deserving urgent adoptable pets! We fly our pets to approved adopters all over the US, especially in low kill and no kill markets where there is a demand for rescue pets!
