WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾💛 Meet Gordo — 8 Pounds of Love, Loyalty, and Lap-Warming Perfection 💛🐾 Gordo has been waiting… and waiting… and we honestly don’t understand how this little guy is still looking for his forever home. At just 3 years old and 8 pounds, Gordo is living proof that the very best things come in the tiniest, snuggliest packages. This sweet Chihuahua mix is equal parts lap warmer, cuddle champion, and loyal sidekick. He adores being close to his person and will happily follow you from room to room like a tiny, devoted shadow. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who truly wants to be with you — not just near you — Gordo is your guy. He does have a soft spot for the ladies (Gentlemen, don’t worry—he’ll accept you too, but he’s a mama’s boy at heart!) and would thrive in a calm, quiet home. He’d also be thrilled to have a small doggie friend to sunbathe with and share naps. Kids aren’t really his vibe, but cozy couches and peaceful routines? Absolutely. 💊 A little extra love note about Gordo: Gordo is considered special needs due to occasional seizures, which are well managed with daily medication (Levetiracetam and Phenobarbital - about $50 every two months). He takes his meds like a champ and doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He’ll also need Midazolam on hand, just in case he does have a seizure — though thankfully, his meds are working very well and he rarely has one. Now for the fun stuff… 🐶 Gordo’s Favorite Things: • Being used as a living neck pillow • Sunbathing like a tiny beach bum • Napping with doggie friends • Shamelessly begging for watermelon 🍉 • Sitting in your lap… always • Staring down the vacuum like a brave little warrior He’s house trained, crate trained, and happily trots into his crate at mealtime like the good boy he is. Gordo is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loving — the kind of dog who bonds deeply and gives his whole heart once he feels safe. This little guy has been through a lot in his short life, but he hasn’t let it dim his sweetness or his desire to love. He’s just waiting for someone to see how special he truly is and give him the calm, loving home he deserves. 💛 If you’re looking for a devoted companion, a constant cuddle buddy, and a tiny soul who will adore you endlessly — Gordo is ready to wiggle into your heart and home! Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this sweet boy the forever home he’s been waiting for. 💖

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ⚡🐾 Meet Flash — A Little Spark of Courage with a Whole Lot of Heart 🐾⚡ Male • 10 Months Old • 13 lbs - Chihuahua Some dogs burst into your life with confidence… and some, like Flash, quietly work their way into your heart and stay there forever. 💛 At 10 months old and 13 pounds, Flash is still very much a puppy at heart — just one who’s learning the world a little later than most. Coming from a hoarding situation, he missed out on some of the basics early on… but you’d never know it by how beautifully he’s starting to blossom. This sweet boy has already made incredible progress. What once was a shy, unsure pup is now a little guy who will come up for pets, seek out affection, and is discovering just how good life can be. And honestly? He’s kind of crushing it. • House training? Doing fantastic. • Doggie door? Learned it practically overnight (show-off 😄) • Making dog friends? Yes please. • Toys? Still figuring them out, but very interested. Flash is smart, curious, and very treat motivated, which makes him a wonderful student for learning all the things he may have missed early on — leash walking, confidence building, and all the fun parts of being a beloved family dog. He’s currently working on his leash skills, and once he’s comfortable, he’ll be the perfect buddy for leisurely neighborhood strolls or mild outdoor adventures. With other dogs, Flash is doing great — he’s even starting to play and would truly benefit from a confident canine sibling to help show him the ropes and remind him that everything is okay. Cats? He’s met one and was curious but respectful — a true gentleman. Because he’s still gaining confidence, Flash would do best with older kids who understand patience and gentle interactions. Now, about his name… Let’s just say it fits. Not only does he have a little lightning bolt marking on his chest, but when he gets the zoomies? You’ll see exactly how he earned it. Blink and you might miss him. ⚡ But his markings isn’t what makes him special: It’s the way he’s learning to trust. The way he leans in for pets. The way he’s discovering joy in things most dogs take for granted. Flash is still soaking up the world like a much younger puppy — every day is new, exciting, and just a little bit magical. He doesn’t need perfection. He just needs patience, kindness, and someone willing to show him what love looks like. And in return? You’ll get a dog who loves you with his whole heart — the kind of love that feels extra special because it was earned. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Flash the safe, loving home he’s been waiting for… and watch him light up your life in the sweetest way. 🐾💛

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾☀️ Meet Conroe — The Little Adventure Buddy with Big Puppy Energy ☀️🐾 Male • 4 Months Old • Future 25ish lbs • Professional Toy Tester & Zoomie Specialist Conroe is a 4-month-old 10lb bundle of puppy happiness wrapped in a handsome light tan coat and powered entirely by curiosity, wiggles, and snack motivation. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance grooming routine but high-maintenance cuddle expectations… congratulations, you’ve found your boy. This short-haired cutie may possibly be a Puggle mix (pug + beagle), but his official breed classification is “Certified Good-Time Puppy.” His coat is the perfect wash-and-go model — meaning less time brushing and more time doing the important things in life like belly rubs, snacks, and telling him how handsome he is. Conroe is a happy, social little guy who loves other dogs and is especially fond of wrestling matches with his darker-tan brother, Toledo. Their matches are intense, dramatic, and occasionally involve mid-playtime flops that look like someone hit the “puppy pause button.” Toys? Yes. Exploring outside? Absolutely. Meeting people? His tag is already wagging. He’s a curious little explorer who loves being outside checking out the world, sniffing everything like it’s part of an important investigation, and generally living life like every day is the best day ever. At his young age, he should do just fine with cats when given proper introductions. He loves other dogs and people of all sizes, but keep in mind — he is still a puppy, which means he comes factory-equipped with those famous needle-sharp puppy teeth and enthusiastic little claws. Temporary features, but highly effective during playtime. Life with Conroe will include: • Surprise zoomies through the living room • Dramatic puppy flops mid-play • Toy explosions across the house • Endless kisses • Occasional chaos • A whole lot of laughter Fully grown, he should land around the 25ish pound range, which is basically the goldilocks size of dogs — big enough for adventures, small enough to fit comfortably on the couch (or directly in your lap, according to him). He’ll be the perfect partner for: • Hiking trails • Camping trips • Neighborhood strolls • Co-piloting errand runs • And of course… professional couch snuggling once the day’s adventures are done. If your home could use more laughter, more puppy shenanigans, and a very happy little sidekick who thinks you hung the moon… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Conroe bring the zoomies, the giggles, and the puppy love home. 🐶💛
