Starky is a 1.5-year-old, 22-pound mix-breed pup looking for his forever home. The shelter team thinks he might have some Cocker Spaniel and Schnauzer in his lineage, which would explain his handsome beard. He is a playful and energetic pup who is excited to go on walks or play with toys. He loves to run too! According to his previous owner, Starky enjoys spending time with children, but because he's still learning how to manage his size and energy, he might accidentally knock over smaller ones if they're not steady on their feet. His previous family didn't have much time for training, so his new owner will need to help him learn his house manners. Starky plays great with the other dogs at the shelter, but he has not been around cats. With a little guidance, Starky is sure to be a quick learner and a wonderful companion. Handsome Beau is a Poodle mix with a bit of a sad story. He was found wandering as a stray, and when he was brought to us, we discovered that he was microchipped. We went to great lengths to contact the listed owner, but unfortunately, they never responded to our outreach. This means wonderful Beau is now officially looking for a loving, permanent family to call his own. Born on 7/26/24 according to his previously registered microchip, Beau is still a young pup with a lifetime of adventures ahead of him. His finder reported that he did well in a home with both a dog and a cat, suggesting he could be a great fit for a multi-pet household. Beau is a gentle and friendly companion who will thrive in a home that offers him structure, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. He will be neutered (12/12) and fully vaccinated before heading home, and his existing microchip will be transferred to you upon adoption. The $350 adoption fee covers his neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, and the microchip transfer.
