Story
Perla is a sweetheart who is settling in wonderfully to her foster home and slowly realizing that she is safe and sound. She is a quiet, calm, and low-maintenance companion who spends most of her day sleeping and relaxing in familiar spaces where she feels safest. Perla is blind and may be close to deaf, and enjoys life in the slow lane. She does best with a predictable routine. In her foster home, she eats and drinks outside twice a day, which encourages her to go potty outdoors immediately afterward. She also reliably uses pee pads indoors in her pen area when needed. Our little one is 14 years old and a whopping 12.4 pounds. She came to us rather neglected and has been catching up on much-needed care while regaining her health. She has been cleared for a dental procedure and will be available for adoption shortly after. She doesn’t ask for much, mostly just TLC, and would love a quiet, loving home to retire in.

Story
We’re so happy to have our sweet girl Curls with us. After being returned to her owner from the shelter last year, she sadly found herself back there again within a year - this time in very rough shape. Once her painful mats were shaved away, she instantly felt like a brand-new little lady, and her true personality started to shine. Curls gets along great with other dogs and is also fine with cats. She loves her toys, has a healthy appetite, and is house-trained (she even knows how to use training pads). She’s got just the right amount of sass, is incredibly affectionate, and a joy to be around. She’s not a big fan of car rides, but that’s easily managed with medication. Curls also prefers to skip the harnesses and sweaters, but she more than makes up for it with all the love she gives. She’d do best in an adult home that understands she doesn’t like much handling around her head, likely from past experiences. Curls is 10 years old, weighs about 8-10 pounds, and is ready to steal the heart of a very lucky family.

Story
At 12 years old, Lambie is the definition of a gentle, loving companion. This sweet boy’s greatest wish is simply to bond closely with his person and spend his days nearby, whether that means cuddling on the couch, going for walks, or joining you on little adventures. Lambie sleeps peacefully through the night, walks nicely on leash, and rides wonderfully in the car. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes (including friends from both the big and small dog parks) and is also wonderful with cats. He knows commands like sit and shake, and while he seems house trained, he may need a little patience and gentle reminders as he settles into a new home. When Lambie came to us, he was dealing with multiple infections and painful foxtails, all of which are currently being addressed. He also has cataracts and could stand to gain a little weight, but overall he is in good health and, most importantly, has the sweetest spirit imaginable. Lambie is truly a very special boy who deserves nothing more than a soft place to land and a family to love him for the rest of his days. (He will be neutered prior to adoption)
