Story
Sutton is a gorgeous Cockapoo puppy born April 3, 2026, and rescued from the pet trade. Now living his best life in foster care, this 10.6-pound, non-shedding wild man is making up for lost time! Sutton is highly intelligent, extremely active, affectionate, and delightfully goofy. He loves children, dogs of all sizes, exploring, chasing stuffed balls, playing tug, solving enrichment toys, and wedging himself into any available lap. He already knows sit and down and is learning come and shake. He needs an active, engaged family that will continue his training and keep his busy brain productively occupied—otherwise, he may begin remodeling your home without a permit. Sutton uses potty pads and is learning to potty outside. Cats are unknown. Petfinder inquiries are not adoption applications. Story
We adopted Duke at 8 weeks toward the end of our pregnancy. He is very high energy and we haven’t been able to stay on top of his training with our new baby. He is a nice dog he’s just a little bit of separation anxiety and jumps and wiggles a lot. He needs a home that he can run in the yard and burn some energy. We can’t offer him that right now with our apartment.

Story
Meet Minnie! Minnie is a sweet 5-year-old, 12–14 lb black-and-tan Poodle with a playful personality and a heart full of potential. She loves crackly toys, entertains herself with adorable zoomies, and will keep you smiling with her silly antics. Minnie has lived successfully with other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion, though she also enjoys simply being near her people. She is crate trained and has moderate energy, making her a wonderful companion for a calm home that can provide structure and patience. Minnie is still learning important life skills, including house training and walking on a leash. Because leash walks are very stressful for her, she is looking for a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely exercise, play, and build confidence. Minnie is naturally very shy and easily startled. Quick movements, unfamiliar situations, and sudden changes can frighten her, and it takes her time to build trust. While she enjoys being around her people, she is not a cuddly lap dog at this stage and prefers affection on her own terms. Her ideal adopter will understand that earning her trust is a journey and will celebrate the small victories along the way using gentle, positive reinforcement. Because of her sensitive nature, Minnie is looking for an adult-only home or one with older teens. She is not a good fit for a home with young children. Minnie's ideal home: Securely fenced yard No young children Patient family committed to continuing her training and building her confidence A calm, predictable environment Plenty of toys for playtime and zoomies If you're looking for a sweet, funny little companion and have the patience to let her blossom at her own pace, Minnie is ready to find her forever family. ##2784540##

Story
A2083958 Kurtier (HW NEG) Spayed - Poodle mix - 4 yr - 9 lbs This girl melts you heart, she is sooo sweet and just wants to be lap dog, loves pets and seeks affection from everyone. She has never met a stranger~ Most recent Lola's foster update:She is very cuddly, sweet, and potty/crate trained. She does have somewhat sensitive teeth. She is reactive to most dogs, some men, and high energy children but more so from excitement usually. It's best to let her come to you. At times she may appear "aggressive" but her nips are so gentle and it's a classic all bark/growl but not really a bite. She is food guarded with other dogs. She would be best as an only dog or with a very calm, low maintenance dog and older or no children. Kurtier loves to play but gets tired quickly. The best owner for her would be patient, mostly at home, loves a Velcro dog, and is willing to accommodate to her needs and boundaries. She has opened up so quickly with us and is more open to cuddling with my pup. She's very specific on what food and treat texture she will eat and she does prefer scraps/table food. Also, it appears she does know basic commands and loves being in a purse when in public or in a warm sweater when it's chilly. She will listen to new commands and can be easily taught especially once she settles in. She will be your most loyal and gentle companion if she feels safe, cared for, and loved. Oh and she jumps really high like a little kangaroo! It's very cute and gentle. Princess- https://youtube.com/shorts/rnijSwTsR5s Texas foster:She has been with us for just over a week, and the transformation has been amazing. When she first arrived, she was in pretty rough shape. After a much-needed trim and grooming, she's like a whole new dog-much happier, more comfortable, and ready to find a loving home. She is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people. If you're looking for a little shadow, she's your girl! She enjoys giving kisses and is happiest curled up right beside you.She is also very alert and makes a great little watchdog. She'll let you know if she hears something unusual, but once she sees that you're aware, she settles down instead of barking nonstop.Right now, she's still working on gaining weight. We suspect she may have spent some time on the streets or was used to eating mostly human food before coming into rescue. She's quite skinny, so we're currently mixing her kibble with a little Cesar wet food to encourage her to eat. As she settles into a routine and learns that she'll always have regular meals, we're confident this is something that can be improved with time and patience. She is a gentle, loving dog who has already come so far in such a short time. She deserves a family that will continue to help her thrive and give her all the love she's been missing.Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals. You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2809412##
