Story
Sutton is a gorgeous Cockapoo puppy born April 3, 2026, and rescued from the pet trade. Now living his best life in foster care, this 10.6-pound, non-shedding wild man is making up for lost time! Sutton is highly intelligent, extremely active, affectionate, and delightfully goofy. He loves children, dogs of all sizes, exploring, chasing stuffed balls, playing tug, solving enrichment toys, and wedging himself into any available lap. He already knows sit and down and is learning come and shake. He needs an active, engaged family that will continue his training and keep his busy brain productively occupied—otherwise, he may begin remodeling your home without a permit. Sutton uses potty pads and is learning to potty outside. Cats are unknown. Petfinder inquiries are not adoption applications. Story
Nellie is a smart, affectionate Cockapoo puppy born on April 3, 2026. Rescued from the commercial pet trade, this 8.6-pound little lady is now discovering toys, children, zoomies and the critically important art of snuggling. She lives with children ages 3, 6, 13 and 16 and does wonderfully with them. Nellie loves balls, squeaky toys, sniff mats and anything she can chase. She is active but not over the top and settles beautifully when playtime ends. Nellie knows sit and down and is learning stay, come, shake and fetch. Potty training is still in progress; she uses pads indoors and does well when taken outside. She has done well with small, large, older and male dogs, but her foster form reports she is not good with female dogs. Cats are unknown. Nellie is playful, clever, cuddly and just dramatic enough to keep life interesting. To learn more about Nellie and apply to adopt, you MUST visit www.pawsitiverestorations.com. Applications are accepted only through our website.

Story
** If you are interested in adopting Jenny please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** Meet Jenny! Jenny is a 9 year old Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel / Poodle mix) looking for a loving home to spend her golden years in. She was bought as a puppy by her owner, which is how we know she's a Cockapoo. Jenny spent her whole life being loved by her owner, who sadly had to move to an assisted living facility. A family member surrendered her to us, and now she's ready to find a new person to call her own. Jenny is a sweet, friendly girl who gets along with everyone she meets; people and other dogs alike. She's social and warm, and she's used to being part of a home, so she's fully house trained and knows how to be a good housemate. She's a bit on the chunky side at 35 pounds and could stand to lose about 5 pounds, so light daily walks and portion control will help her get back to a healthy weight. From Jenny's foster, who is her previous owner's son: "Jenny is well trained. Potty trained, walks well on leash (will pull if she sees a bunny though!), good home manners, etc. She wants to sleep in the bed , but just as comfy on the floor. She sleeps in bed with me and my dog. She is a little intimidated by dogs on walks that have a lot of energy, but that's just because she's a mellow lady. Her worst habit is begging, as my mom unfortunately fed her from her plate. I give her a frozen kong when I eat. She is learning not to beg, and improving. She is very food motivated. She has lived her whole 9 years with an elderly woman in a house with full yard and quiet neighborhood" Jenny is diabetic and needs two insulin shots a day. It sounds like a lot, but it becomes a quick part of the daily routine, and the cost is very manageable (about $100 for a 45-day supply of insulin, so less than $100 a month). We're happy to go over everything with her adopters before she goes home. Jenny is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, and otherwise in good health. She will also be sent home with 45 days worth of her insulin. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out 400 dogs each year. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! **This dog does NOT attend adoption events. Luigi is available through private meet and greets only. Please email info@coloradopuppy.org AND complete an adoption application if you have not already, if you are interested in Luigi.** What we know: Luigi came to Colorado Puppy Rescue as a bottle baby in December 2025 after a pregnant dog, who was scheduled for a spay-abort at one of the veterinary clinics CPR works with, went into labor before the procedure. The puppies were relinquished to the clinic, which initially reached out to CPR for help with two 1-day-old puppies, including Luigi. Another puppy was adopted by a veterinary technician, while the remaining three stayed with clinic staff until one sadly passed away. At 9 days old, the final two puppies were transferred to CPR's care. As he grew, Luigi developed much more slowly than his siblings and began experiencing seizures. He was eventually adopted by his foster family but was later returned when they realized they could not provide the lifelong medical care he requires, and their busy lifestyle made it difficult to keep his seizures well managed. Luigi will need daily seizure medication for the rest of his life, and his future family should be prepared for the ongoing time, commitment, and financial responsibility that come with his medical needs. From the foster: I’m pretty cute, right? Well, this cute little face comes with some very important medical needs. You see, I have a seizure disorder, so it’s very important that my future family understands what life with me will look like. I take anti-seizure medication three times a day (every 8 hours), every day, and keeping me on a consistent schedule is essential. I’m looking for a family whose lifestyle allows them to reliably meet my medical needs. Although I will always experience seizures, I will require my family’s close collaboration with a veterinarian to ensure the ongoing management of my care. Despite my medical needs, I’m a happy, affectionate little guy with so much love to give. I get along great with other dogs, absolutely adore kids, and my favorite place is wherever my people are. I’m not much of a crate fan—I would much rather be by your side, and at bedtime, I’m happiest snuggled up in bed with my humans. I’m still working on potty training and will thrive with a patient, consistent family who will continue helping me learn. Like any 7-month-old puppy, I have lots of playful puppy energy! I love to chew, give kisses, and lick my favorite people whenever I get the chance. I can also be a pretty vocal guy. New sights, sounds, and unfamiliar things can make me excited, so I like to let everyone know what I think with a few barks. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion and are ready to commit to my special needs while giving me the consistency I need, I promise to fill your life with love, kisses, and endless puppy cuddles. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
