Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Family Pet Care / Fresca Fund in Forth Worth, Texas at approximately 1.5 years old. Teddy was adopted in Fort Worth, Texas and returned 10 days later for suspected symptoms of pneumonia. Transferred to rescue from shelter for treatment, cleared for travel. From the foster: Meet Teddy (672) — the sweetest pup who is just looking for a family to call his own. Teddy's favorite place is wherever you are. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or heading out for an adventure, he's happiest by your side. He has all the love and loyalty you could ask for in a companion. While Teddy still has the playful spirit and enthusiasm of a puppy, he's doing well with basic manners and commands. He is housebroken, sleeps quietly in his crate at night, and is eager to please. Like any young dog, he'll benefit from continued training and supervised play as he learns that not everyone is as excited as he is about life! He does well with other dogs and the toddler in his foster home, though supervision is recommended with young children since Teddy can get a little jumpy and rough in his excitement while playing. He's currently working through some skin issues and is sporting a less-than-glamorous haircut after being shaved down due to severe matting. But underneath that rough-around-the-edges appearance is an incredibly loving pup who is ready to flourish with a little TLC. Give him some time, care, and a cozy place to belong, and this pup just might be the sweetest teddy bear you've ever met. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
