I have a 13 year old Cockapoo named Luna who is struggling to adjust to my return to the office and my new schedule, which now includes 10 hours or more workdays and increased travel. Beginning in March my travel requirements will increase to 2 weeks per month. Prior to the COVID, my schedule was less demanding, and I was able to accommodate Luna’s needs. However, my current schedule is significantly impacting Luna’s quality of life. As a result, it's best for her to be in a home with someone who works from home or retired

Bill just had surgery for a cherry eye, which is healing and also has chronic ear infections that will require further management. A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! A Victor is a precious miniature poodle mix. He came to us with an injured leg that required amputation. He has adjusted very well and loves to run. Victor is crate trained and can walk on a leash. Victor requires a home with a secure fenced yard that is appropriate for a small breed dog. Victor will need a home with no small children. He is very loving, but can be protective of his people and toys. Victor does not have a bite history, but needs a family that understands small dogs with an attitude. He is so very loving and loves to give kisses. If you’re interested in learning more about this baby, please apply to furkids.org. We are not considering out-of-state adoptions. Victor currently weighs about 12lbs and is approximately 2 years old (estimated birth date 10/03/2023). His adoption fee is $185. Victor has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and is microchipped. Lola is a 4-year-old Cocker Spaniel who is incredibly sweet with her people and loves being part of the action. She’s an active girl who would thrive with an active family, ideally one with a fenced yard where she can run and play. Lola needs to be the only dog in the home, as she is dog reactive. We are also not recommending a home with small children. She does not enjoy vet handling and will need to be muzzled for exams. She is a great dog who just needs a patient adopter who will appreciate her for all she is! Lola is approximately 4 years old (est. birthdate 11/26/2021), weighs 19 pounds, and is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines & preventatives. Lola’s adoption fee is $510. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only.
