Story
A HANDSOME & SWEET BOY: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. Hi, I’m Stark! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own. I think that is the best news ever! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, though I came in with another dog who has already been adopted, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a big, handsome boy with a sweet, friendly personality and a happy, playful spirit! I’m strong, but I also have a wonderful calm and gentle side. I was such a good boy for my bath, happily wagging my tail and lifting each paw for the bather. I do have one very important safety note: no balls of any kind for me, as I am reported to eat/swallow them, which is extremely dangerous! I’m a lovable boy who’s ready to have fun and soak up plenty of attention with my forever family! / Energy level: Currently 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning lots more. I pull a little on my leash, though not a lot, and I’m working on that now. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts though I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time in a crate. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love tasty treats, going for walks, and spending time with the nice volunteers. I’m sure once I’m settled into my forever home, we’ll discover lots more things we will enjoy doing together! / I wasn’t fond of my ear cleaning when I arrived, but with consistent grooming I believe I’ll improve, and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a big boy who will need regular professional grooming to keep my coat in great shape. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family!
