🐶 Looking for a New Family for Lego 📍 Location: New York Lego was adopted as a young puppy but was sadly surrendered by his owner after three years. He grew up in an unstable environment with frequent travel back and forth to Boston, which made it difficult for him to form a secure attachment with his guardian. Because of this instability, in moments of fear, panic, or overwhelming stress, he has shown a few defensive or warning bites Lego needs a family who can meet him in person, understand his behavior clearly, and provide the consistent, reassuring environment he needs. City life is simply too overwhelming for him. With a quiet environment and a patient, steady guardian, Lego has every chance to continue improving and becoming more stable. The greatest hope is for Lego to find a peaceful home where he can finally rest. 📌 Basic Information Name: Lego Age: 4 years Gender: Male Weight: 25 lbs Breed: Jindo × Cocker Spaniel mix Color: Brown & White 🐾 Personality & Behavior People: Very fearful/reactive toward new people, warms up more easily to shorter women Children: Not recommended Other Dogs: Best as the only dog Shows resource guarding around food; must be fed separately Cats: Unknown Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: No Energy Level: High Touch/Handling: Uncomfortable with physical contact Barking: Quiet when alone; barks at doorbells or hallway noises when someone is home Escape Tendencies: None — manageable with “sit” and “wait” Walking: Martingale collar recommended; pulls with a harness Car Rides: Nervous initially, settles on longer rides Yard: Ideal, but a quiet neighborhood is also fine Living with Other Dogs: Not suitable 🔎 What Lego Needs Lego has fear-based reactivity. His current guardian has invested significant time, training, and management, and he has shown meaningful progress. However, Lego needs: A guardian experienced with reactive or anxious dogs A consistent daily routine A calm environment with low stimulation 🧡 Please Consider Becoming Lego’s Family Once he bonds, Lego is goofy, affectionate, and deeply loyal. He is waiting for a forever family who can provide the quiet suburban environment where he can truly thrive.

Story
Meet Jerry Currently in Calgary! Name: Jerry Age: 3 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Poodle Color: Brown / Weight: 4.2 kg Height: 30 cm   Rescue Story Jerry was rescued from a city shelter in Korea before euthanasia. He is now looking for a patient and understanding home that can provide the structure, time, and support he needs.   ‍‍‍ Social with People Jerry is an affectionate dog who enjoys being near people and likes companionship. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys attention, pets, and relaxing near his trusted people.   He can be sensitive when touched unexpectedly, especially around his hind end, and prefers gentle, respectful handling. He does best when interactions happen calmly and on his terms.   Due to behaviors observed in his current home, Jerry is looking for an adult-only home or a home with older, dog-savvy teenagers.   Social with Other Dogs Jerry will politely greet unfamiliar dogs and sniff them, but he does not show strong interest in playing. He is generally independent and enjoys having his own space.   Cats When he sees cats during walks, Jerry tends to remain focused on his handler and has not shown strong reactions.   Energy Level Jerry has a moderate energy level. He enjoys walks and outdoor time, but also likes resting quietly for much of the day.   Walking Jerry walks well on leash and generally follows his handler without excessive pulling.   Home Life & Personality Jerry enjoys a calm, predictable routine. In his previous foster home, he often rested quietly on his cushion while his foster parent worked nearby.   Like many rescue dogs, Jerry can find major life transitions challenging. During his adjustment period in a new home, he has been observed pacing at times, having difficulty settling, and showing increased attachment to his people. These behaviors may improve as he becomes more comfortable and secure in his environment.   Jerry has also shown some resource guarding and defensive behaviors around high-value items and toys in his current home. His future family should be prepared to manage these behaviors with positive reinforcement, structure, calm boundaries, and professional guidance if needed.   He enjoys enrichment activities such as food puzzles, nosework games, snuffle mats, chew items, and treat-searching games.   Ideal Home Jerry would do best with someone who:   • Has experience with anxious or sensitive dogs • Uses positive reinforcement methods • Can provide a calm and predictable routine • Understands the importance of decompression and boundaries • Is comfortable continuing confidence-building and enrichment activities • Has no young children in the home   Jerry may not be the right dog for every home, but for someone who understands sensitive dogs and is willing to give him the time and support he needs, he has so much love and companionship to offer. Story
🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home My name is Roy, and I’m a 3-year-old female toy poodle weighing just 3.4kg — a tiny little girl who fits perfectly in your arms. 🐾 I was rescued just before euthanasia after going through a very difficult past. Even so, I didn’t lose my love for people. In fact, I think I love humans even more now. Once I feel safe, I open my heart quickly and naturally want to stay close to my person. In my foster home, I adjusted within just a few days — I’m quite adaptable when I feel secure. Now, I love following my caregivers everywhere, staying close, and being part of their daily life. I’m very affectionate and enjoy being held, cuddled, and right next to someone I trust. 💛 My energy level is medium to low. I enjoy walks and I’m starting to show more playful and curious behaviors, but I’m still a gentle and easygoing little girl overall. I don’t show much interest in other dogs, but I also don’t react fearfully or aggressively — I simply coexist peacefully. I’m already well-trained in my potty habits. I use pee pads indoors for urination, and I prefer to poop during walks outside. I’m also learning to sleep in a crate at night, and I’m becoming more comfortable resting inside it on my own during the day as well. One important thing about me is that I don’t really enjoy being alone for long periods. I feel happiest when I can be close to my people, so a family that is often home or can spend a lot of time with me would be the best fit. I used to vocalize a bit when left alone, but I’ve improved a lot — now I mostly stay calm and just get excited to greet my family when they come back home. I do have a few special care needs. I’m missing some of my upper front teeth, so soft food or wet food mixed meals suit me best. I also may have experienced food insecurity in the past, so I can get quite interested in food. For my safety, food items, trash bins, and anything edible should be kept out of reach. When I’m left alone, I stay safely in a crate where I feel secure and protected. I’m still learning, but I’m doing my best every day. More than anything, I love being loved. With patience, warmth, and consistency, I continue to grow more confident and happy each day. I don’t need a perfect life — I just need someone who will stay close, care for me, and never make me feel alone again. I may be small, but my heart is full of love waiting to be shared. I’m Roy, and I’m waiting for the family who will hold me gently and keep me close forever. 🤍🐾
