Mario is a four-year-old neutered male mini poodle mix. He has a beautiful apricot coat and weighs 12.5 lb. He has been neutered, received a health check and microchip. His vaccines and prevention medication are all up to date. He eats kibble mixed with wet food twice a day and the occasional soft treat. He is a very affectionate boy who loves to jump on your lap for a snuggle. Mario is housetrained. He goes to the door and sits when he needs to go out. He knows “sit” and comes when called. He gets along with other dogs well. He is a bit too interested in cats for their liking. He enjoys time outside exploring the backyard and walks well on a leash. He is beginning to play with soft toys and balls. He can do stairs and jump on furniture. He prefers sleeping on a chair or sofa to a dog bed. At night he sleeps on the foot of his fosters bed. Mario is not destructive and can be left on his own in the home for several hours with no issues. He is generally quiet in the house except for the joyful and enthusiastic welcome home barks when you return from being out. His new owners should monitor him carefully in new situations as visiting a vet or groomer might be stressful for him. Ollie and Lulu were surrendered to us when their owner no longer had the time to care for them. They both had untreated medical issues and severe dental disease, leaving them extremely uncomfortable and lethargic. After receiving treatment they became almost entirely different dogs. Ollie and Lulu may be seniors but they sure do like to go for walks and run around the yard together. They are a volunteer favourite because of their goofy and sweet dispositions. They are selective with dogs and would only do well in a home with another calm dog that does not intimidate or become rough with them. Ollie does bark at other dogs in passing, while Lulu ignores them. Ollie and Lulu would do well in just about any home. They have been great with respectful children that are experienced with dogs. Lulu can sometimes have grumpy moments when she wants her space to nap. It's important to look for the obvious signs when she needs alone time. Ollie is always happy and ready for a cuddle. This cute duo have great house manners, they frequently go on sleepovers with our dedicated volunteers who report they are always on their best behaviour. Seven is another dog at risk of euthanasia. He is 10 years young, poodle mix, male, and has lots of life left to give. He is very calm, good with dogs, and walks well on a leash. Seven was pulled from the Government shelter in South Korea and placed in foster. He is utd vaccinations, neutered, dewormed, Snap 4dx tested, microchipped, teeth cleaned, and comes with a vet Health Certificate. This poodle mix Kito was found as a stray and pulled from a Government shelter in South Korea. Kito is female and 2 years old. She is in a foster home and doing awesome . Luckily, rescuers gave me a second chance, and I was adopted by someone who seemed to be my forever family. My adopter even brought me to Bedlington Terrier meet-ups, and for a moment, it felt like I had finally found my place in the world. Sadly, just one week after my adoption, I was found back on the streets, wearing the same little outfit I had on when I left for my new home. I ended up back in a city pound, unsure of what had gone wrong. But I haven’t lost hope! I’m ready to leave my past behind and I’m patiently waiting to meet the family who will truly love and cherish me forever.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super friendly boy, and volunteers and staff say my charm and sweet personality make me hard to resist! I love meeting new people, receiving pets, and spending time with humans. Playtime is one of my favorite things, especially when it involves my toys, and I’m happy to be handled and cuddled. I can be a little sensitive at times, particularly around areas I feel attached to, so I would do best in a home with a family experienced with dogs who can give me guidance and understanding.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m a super friendly boy who absolutely adores people!
