In just one year, Jilly gained over 15 pounds, but she’s now on a healthy diet and exercise plan, and she loves her daily walks. Gentle, tender, and endlessly affectionate, Jilly is happiest when she’s close to her people. She enjoys a bit of playtime with other dogs, and her kind nature extends to all humans and animals she meets. Jilly is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and protected year-round with monthly heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. She’s looking for a family who will not only cherish her sweet spirit, but also commit to keeping her happy and healthy for the rest of her life. Commercial breeding dogs, year after year, are housed in large numbers in small runs that have both indoor and outdoor access at all times. All day, every day, they are kept alive for one sole purpose... in anticipation for the next litter to make the breeder $$$$! This is 100% what factory farming of dogs looks like. These dogs are extremely fearful of human touch because they rarely are given any human attention. The only interaction these dogs get are when someone comes to feed them or to shove them through to the outside to clean their kennel. The wasted years of emotional neglect takes their toll on these beautiful dogs. It can take weeks, months or even years for them to trust you. Noelle has been in rescue for over a year. She is just now inquisitively coming out of her kennel. We truly believe she is ready to go home. We believe with patience, time, and alot of compassion, she will be a wonderful dog. The years spent in the commercial kennel may always linger in the background. You can see she wants to be loved so badly and yet, her fear holds her back. He is a gorgeous one of a kind Cocker Spaniel boy who is deaf.  He was born in July of 2024.  He can be quirky and needs a very special home with no small children.  He can be moody when he is tired.  He will need a home where there is patience and understanding in his training as he cannot hear commands.  His foster dad has worked on teaching him some basic commands through signing.  We require a home with a secured fenced in yard to keep him safe because he has no recall to come when called too.  Bluey can be a true sweetheart when he wants to be but otherwise independent. He seems to enjoy the company of a larger dog in his current foster home and will sleep in bed with his people.  Experience with a deaf dog would be an ideal adopter for Bluey and someone home most of the day as he does not enjoy the confinement of a crate.
