Ideal Home -Louie Suds has his heart set on a work-from-home situation where he has the company of a submissive canine buddy or two. -Louie must have slow, controlled introductions to new people and animals. He warms up quickly once trust is established. -He takes daily over-the-counter medication for his allergies. -Louie is still learning to tolerate the vet and the groomer. He takes medication prior to those appointments. -Louie has a cataract in one eye, but that doesn't slow him down! -A cozy spot at the foot of the bed is Louie’s happy place at bedtime. -Cats are too exciting for Louie–that prey-drive is strong. -He enjoys a yard and dog-door access for sunbathing and playtime. Personality -Louie Suds is the perfect combination of play, party, and rest. He enjoys his morning romp followed by a chill day as WFH supervisor. -He loves affection but isn’t overly needy. He’s content to share space without being in your face. -Louie finds certain things scary and will respond defensively. Therefore, he responds better to older children and adults who respect his concerns and work with him. -He will thrive with gentle love, consistent routine, and patience as he settles into the loving pup he wants to be. Are You Perfect for Louie Suds? Louie Suds’s adoption fee is $550. He is HW-negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Louie Suds a second chance. One year after an accidental litter was born, Vanna, Cookie, and Bruno were surrendered to Flying B together. When they arrived, they were scared and fearful, unsure of this new place and all the people in it. So we gave them what they needed most: time. No rushing. No expectations. Just a safe place to decompress and figure out that nothing bad was going to happen to them here. And then…they burst onto the scene. Now the kisses are flying, the yard is getting plenty of romping, and their personalities are really starting to shine through. And according to the birth-order theory of siblings, these three are already proving the theory might have something to it: 🥇 Bruno — the Firstborn: Naturally stepping into the leadership role. Someone has to be in charge, right? 🍪 Cookie — the Middle: The easygoing middle child, finding her place somewhere between keeping up with Bruno and making sure Vanna doesn't get away with too much. 🌸 Vanna — the Lastborn: The baby of the family, and quite possibly the one who knows exactly how to get everyone’s attention. Of course, we’re still getting to know them, so we’ll let them show us just how accurate that birth-order theory really is. 😉 Cookie got a little glow-up and Bruno and Vanna are next. But first, we wanted to give them time to decompress and build trust before introducing even more strangers into their world. For now, they’re learning what it feels like to be safe. And they’re doing it with plenty of kisses, zoomies, and sibling shenanigans. Stay tuned. Their glow-ups are coming—and we have a feeling these three are going to have a LOT to say about who they are. Ready for a meet and greet?
