Story
Say HI to Old Man Morty! Morty is a happy little guy who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap, demanding love, cuddles, and belly rubs—preferably while being cradled like the baby he believes he is. He’s not perfect—he’s got a bum eye—but that just adds to his charm. Morty is part of our Senior Sanctuary and is bonded to his best girl, Snow White. These two are a package deal and will be adopted together. While he’s safe with us, Morty would love nothing more than a home of his own to spend his golden years, right alongside the one he loves most. Adoption fees for bonded dogs are 2-for-1. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.

Story
Reba may look like a chunky little couch potato, but she’s really a big-hearted survivor. After a rough start to life raising puppies in a junkyard, she’s traded rust and scraps for soft beds and full bowls—and she couldn’t be happier. This lovable “house hippo” is all about being close to her people, whether that’s keeping you company indoors or following you into the yard. She’s weaned her babies now, but she still likes to stay near and soak up the comfort she’s found. Reba enjoys easygoing pack walks, belly rubs, and simply being part of your daily life. She’s ready to be someone’s loyal shadow, constant companion, and snuggle buddy for life.

Story
Sissy's days as the devoted mother are behind her, and now it's finally her turn to take center stage. After lovingly raising her puppies and watching each of them find a forever home, Sissy is patiently waiting for her own happy ending. This sweet, gentle girl has blossomed into the perfect companion dog. She's content to simply be near her people, happily going wherever life takes her. Whether it's relaxing at home, running errands, or enjoying time outdoors, Sissy is happiest when she's by your side. She walks beautifully on a leash and would love nothing more than long walks with her favorite humans, taking in the sights and enjoying the simple pleasures of being part of a family. Sissy has left her difficult past behind and embraced the life every dog deserves. Now all she needs is a forever home where she can continue doing what she does best—being a loyal, loving companion. Story
Snow White is a sweet senior gal with a gentle soul and a beautiful story. In 2025, she gave birth to one precious puppy, and since then she’s settled into the role she was clearly born for—being cherished and loved. Her soulmate is Daddy Morty, and these two are truly inseparable. They are a bonded, 2-for-1 pair and will be adopted together. Like Morty, Snow White adores belly rubs and is perfectly happy being cradled like a baby, soaking up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. While she may be an old gal, Snow White still has so much love, joy, and laughter left to share. She’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel warmer and hearts feel fuller just by being there. Story
Lola is just an easy dog. She gets along with everyone and has a quiet way of taking charge without making a big deal about it. She’s especially good with younger dogs and seems to naturally look out for them. She’d much rather be curled up getting cuddles than wrestling around with the other dogs, but she definitely has an adventurous side. She’s happy to go along and see what’s next. There’s really not a lot of drama with Lola. She’s just a good, easygoing dog who fits in wherever she goes. Ready for a meet and greet? My name is Charlie! Im a 4 yrs old poodle weighing in at a whopping 10 lbs! I love to be with my humans but prefer a quiet home. I would do best in a home with no small kids because fast hands startle me. I ride in the car well, walk on a leash, I know how to use a doggy door and check all the boxes! ✅Cuteness overload ✅Potty trained ✅Gets along with dogs/cats ✅Crate trainedApplications can be found online at www.pawsofloverescue.com, under the adopt tab.  We require an approved application before a meet and greet is set up.  August 13, 2026, 10:18 am

Story
Meet Kodi — proof that age is just a number. At 12 years old and just 6.5 pounds, Kodi is the kind of loyal, low-maintenance companion dreams are made of. He’s house-trained (even in the rain!), sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and quickly mastered the doggie door like the smart little guy he is. Kodi loves nothing more than being near you—happily curled up at your side or trotting along on a walk, just glad to be included. He is gentle, calm, and full of life, with so much love left to give. He eats only canned food due to his lack of teeth and his age. Kodi didn’t deserve to be surrendered to a shelter by his owner but now he’s ready to be someone’s whole world. Maybe yours? We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Reed is an adorable 8-month-old Miniature Poodle who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life as a beloved pet can be. Reed came to us as a breeder release, so much of the outside world is still brand new to him. New places, new sounds, walking on a leash, living in a home... he has a whole new world to explore! He is looking for a patient, loving family who will give him the time and encouragement he needs to build confidence at his own pace. Reed is great with other dogs and people, although he can be a little shy when first meeting someone. Once he realizes he's safe, his sweet personality begins to peek through. Having another friendly, confident dog in the home could be a wonderful example for him as he learns the ropes. At only 8 months old, Reed has so much ahead of him. He just needs someone willing to show him that being a pet means soft beds, yummy treats, adventures, belly rubs, and a family who loves you forever. If you have a little patience and a lot of love, Reed is ready to start his happily-ever-after with you. Apply to adopt Reed: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13102/generic ##2820876##

Story
Pictures will be posted when we have them.  This sweet doodle came to us as a breeder release, which means life as a family pet is all brand new to them. They are still learning about the world outside of a kennel setting and will need a patient, understanding home that is willing to give them time to adjust and build confidence at their own pace. They do best with routine, gentle guidance, and positive reinforcement. While initially shy or unsure in new situations, their personality continues to shine more each day. Many breeder-release dogs thrive in homes with another friendly, confident dog to help show them the ropes. He is crate trained, does well with other dogs, but is not comfident with leash skills. They are not a “plug-and-play” dog and will need time to decompress, but with consistency and love, they become incredibly loyal and affectionate companions. Adopters should understand that adjustment can take several weeks or longer, and moments of insecurity or hesitation are normal during this transition. The reward is watching a dog learn what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family.
