Story
Meet KellerThis 7-year-old Toy Poodle is a soft, gentle soul who is just beginning to discover the world outside of a crate. As a breeder surrender, Keller spent much of his early life confined, so he can be shy and timid at first—but underneath that quiet exterior is an incredibly sweet boy who loves being around people and other animals. He moves at a slower pace and thrives in a calm, patient environment where he can feel safe and secure. Keller is house trained, crate trained, and would do well in an apartment, making him a wonderful companion for a quieter home, such as an older couple or individual looking for a devoted little shadow.Keller recently had 20 decayed teeth removed and now only has his canine teeth, so he will need a soft food diet moving forward. Despite everything he’s been through, he remains loving, affectionate, and happiest when he’s curled up close for cuddles. Whether as an only dog or with a gentle companion, Keller is ready to find a home where he can finally experience comfort, kindness, and unconditional love.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Edgar!Edgar is a current resident at the Saving Hope Ranch and we can’t believe that he is still searching for a foster or his forever home!Edgar is a 10 lb Miniature Poodle mix. He has been fully vaccinated & neutered! He came in as an unwanted stray, so we don’t know his exact age but estimate him to be a young adult (2-4 years old). Edgar gets along great with other dogs. He is used to sleeping in a crate & being crated anytime he’s unattended.Edgar is great with kids and as such would make a great family dog. He would do fine as the only pup in the home, but would also enjoy another canine companion. Edgar could also easily be an apartment pup,To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet Filippa! Filippa is a 4-year-old Bichon Frise with the sweetest face and an even sweeter heart. This little cuddle bug will happily follow her person from room to room, always wanting to be close to the ones she loves most.Filippa can be timid when meeting new people and will need a patient adopter who will give her time to build trust and confidence. She seems especially shy around men at first, but once she feels safe, her affectionate personality shines through. She quickly settles into a routine of naps, cuddles, meals, yard time, potty breaks, and even more cuddles. And if the petting ever stops, she’ll gently lift her little paw to ask for more love. This beautiful girl is laid back, easygoing, and happiest curled up in her person’s lap. She does occasionally get the happy zoomies and may bark at the doorbell, but overall she has a calm and gentle temperament.Filippa is spayed, fully vetted, crate trained, and does well with house training when kept on a consistent feeding schedule. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys the company of other dogs, though she would also do well as an only dog in a calm home. Because of her timid nature, she would do best with older children who can respect her space and help her continue building confidence. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will adore being by your side, Filippa may be the perfect fit for you.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
