Starky is a 1.5-year-old, 22-pound mix-breed pup looking for his forever home. The shelter team thinks he might have some Cocker Spaniel and Schnauzer in his lineage, which would explain his handsome beard. He is a playful and energetic pup who is excited to go on walks or play with toys. He loves to run too! According to his previous owner, Starky enjoys spending time with children, but because he's still learning how to manage his size and energy, he might accidentally knock over smaller ones if they're not steady on their feet. His previous family didn't have much time for training, so his new owner will need to help him learn his house manners. Starky plays great with the other dogs at the shelter, but he has not been around cats. With a little guidance, Starky is sure to be a quick learner and a wonderful companion. This Cocker mix is a sweet old soul whose nickname is Bubble Butt, she has a benign fatty tumor across the top of her tail that looks unusual but doesn’t bother her one bit. What really stands out is her gentle, endearing nature. Cash would love nothing more than a cozy bed and lots of pets to enjoy her senior years. She’s currently in Jamestown, CA, and is eligible for our Sanctuary Program, where you keep her as a permanent foster and we cover her medical bills. Ollie is a high energy 2 year old English Cocker. He loves to play and play and play, His favorite game is fetch with a ball. He gets along with some dogs but not all. He prefers people but at the same time needs a minute to get introduced. He would do best in a calm expirenced home that can work on his basic manners. He is not a bad boy just very green and like all teenagers, needs to learn bounderies.   Ollie, really is a lovely boy, knows sit and shake, walks ok on a leash and can walk past a bunch of barking dogs without barking back. Bashful is a gentle, sweet boy who is slowly learning that people mean love and comfort. True to his name, he can be shy at first, but once he feels safe, he absolutely loves being petted and cuddled. His foster says he is turning into a total “Velcro dog” who wants to be close to his people once he trusts them. Bashful also has a funny little quirk. He is convinced that anything on a person’s head is suspicious and will bark at towels, hats, or even messy buns until they disappear. It is all part of his charm. He has a soft double coat that makes him extra cuddly and will look even better after his grooming and dental care. Bashful came to rescue with his best friend Stellar from East Valley (California) Shelter. They comfort each other and are truly bonded, so they are looking for a forever home together where they can continue to learn, relax, and feel safe.
