Story
🐶 Looking for a New Family for Lego 📍 Location: New York Lego was adopted as a young puppy but was sadly surrendered by his owner after three years. He grew up in an unstable environment with frequent travel back and forth to Boston, which made it difficult for him to form a secure attachment with his guardian. Because of this instability, in moments of fear, panic, or overwhelming stress, he has shown a few defensive or warning bites Lego needs a family who can meet him in person, understand his behavior clearly, and provide the consistent, reassuring environment he needs. City life is simply too overwhelming for him. With a quiet environment and a patient, steady guardian, Lego has every chance to continue improving and becoming more stable. The greatest hope is for Lego to find a peaceful home where he can finally rest. 📌 Basic Information Name: Lego Age: 4 years Gender: Male Weight: 25 lbs Breed: Jindo × Cocker Spaniel mix Color: Brown & White 🐾 Personality & Behavior People: Very fearful/reactive toward new people, warms up more easily to shorter women Children: Not recommended Other Dogs: Best as the only dog Shows resource guarding around food; must be fed separately Cats: Unknown Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: No Energy Level: High Touch/Handling: Uncomfortable with physical contact Barking: Quiet when alone; barks at doorbells or hallway noises when someone is home Escape Tendencies: None — manageable with “sit” and “wait” Walking: Martingale collar recommended; pulls with a harness Car Rides: Nervous initially, settles on longer rides Yard: Ideal, but a quiet neighborhood is also fine Living with Other Dogs: Not suitable 🔎 What Lego Needs Lego has fear-based reactivity. His current guardian has invested significant time, training, and management, and he has shown meaningful progress. However, Lego needs: A guardian experienced with reactive or anxious dogs A consistent daily routine A calm environment with low stimulation 🧡 Please Consider Becoming Lego’s Family Once he bonds, Lego is goofy, affectionate, and deeply loyal. He is waiting for a forever family who can provide the quiet suburban environment where he can truly thrive.

Story
Meet Maple: A Tiny Senior Soul Seeking Her Forever Match Our beautiful Maple has been with us for two months now, and she hasn’t received the notice she truly deserves. We need our incredible village to step up, share her gorgeous face, and help us find her the most amazing forever home! At 13 years young and tiny as can be, Maple’s needs are simple. Her entire world revolves around wanting to be close to someone. Give her a warm lap, a soft spot to nap, and a little patch of sunshine, and she is in pure heaven. Maple is currently with a wonderful foster family in Bakersfield, CA. We absolutely love our foster families; they are the backbone of what we do! To keep our fosters available to help the next dogs in urgent need, we need to find Maple her true, permanent placement. Because senior dogs are so special, Maple is fully eligible for our Sanctuary Program! This is the ultimate win-win: you provide the food, toys, and love, and we help cover her medical expenses. Maple’s Perfect Home: The Crew: Best with adults or older kids. The Buddies: She would absolutely love having another small dog around again! She used to have a little Mini Aussie buddy, and it’s clear she truly misses that close companionship. If you’ve been looking for a sweet, low-maintenance senior companion without the worry of major vet bills, Maple is your girl. If you aren't able to adopt, sharing her story is just as powerful. Let's get this sweet face out there! ##2695316##

Story
Meet Heidi Heidi is a beautiful, sweet little girl who is ready for the loving forever home she’s always deserved. At approximately 7–8 years old, she is mellow, easy-going, and simply wonderful to have around. Heidi enjoys meeting people and gets along well with other dogs. She’s affectionate, gentle, and loving, making her a wonderful all-around companion. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a safe home, a soft place to rest, and someone to love her. Sadly, Heidi’s past wasn’t nearly as kind to her as she is to everyone she meets. She was found with severe mats that had become so tight they cut off the circulation to part of her right ear, resulting in the loss of part of the ear. It also appears that she may have spent much of her life being used for breeding. But Heidi’s past does not define her. This beautiful girl is ready for her next chapter. She deserves to spend her golden years being cherished as a family member—with a cozy bed, gentle care, lots of love, and the security of knowing she is finally home. Heidi has so much love left to give. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow, loving companion, please consider giving this special girl the forever home she deserves. Heidi is ready. All she needs now is you. ##2856802##
