Story
Let us introduce you to LOGAN! Logan is a 14 year old cocker spaniel mix. He and his siblings were in boarding for about a year, due to his mother being ill. Sadly, his mother passed away and he and his siblings were stuck. We love our seniors and stepped up to help. Logan is a gentle and loving creature. He follows you around and quietly asks for attention. Logan went down in his back end while in boarding. The vets are unsure what happened but with physical therapy he got up and moving again. He does still have some mobility issues (drags his foot, walks sideways, falls down a little, cant go in reverse) but dont you dare tell him! He is master chiller but likes slow short walks to explore outside (this also helps in strengthening his back end) and do his version of zoomies (bounce run, and sit and dig around). He coexists with everything and just hangs. He is quiet and a great calming presence to have around. Other than his mobility issues Logan is pretty healthy, but he does have some monthly expenses for medications to help him move and groove ( anti inflammatory, joint chews, allergy meds)

*SCSN does not respond to Petfinder Inquiries. If interested in a meet and greet you must fill out the adoption application!Intake: 5/15/26DOB: 8/24/22 20 lbs Adoption fee: $350SpayedVaccinatedMicrochippedHW Negative and on Monthly Prevention These dogs came from a breeder situation, which means they have lived their entire lives in outdoor pens. Because of that, they are not potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, or accustomed to living inside a home. New environments can be very overwhelming for them at first, and they may initially act nervous, shy, or skittish while they learn how to adjust to normal household life. With that said, they are extremely kind dogs and we fully expect them to continue improving with patience, structure, proper decompression, and consistency. They will need adopters who understand that this is a transition and that progress may take time. All of the dogs are now spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, started on monthly prevention, and available for adoption. For anyone specifically interested in Sandy, please note that she is the shyest of The group and she tested heartworm positive. Because of this, she will either need to remain a local adoption near Statesboro, Georgia so she can complete treatment through our veterinary partner, or her adopter will need to either: Bring her back locally for treatment appointments, or Complete heartworm treatment through their own veterinarian at their own expense. We have already paid for Sandy’s heartworm treatment through our clinic. Her treatment plan consists of:• 30 days of doxycycline twice daily• One month off treatment• Then two consecutive days of heartworm injections at the clinic during the third month• Followed by several days of prednisone and strict activity restriction______________________________________***If you choose to adopt (before all vetting is complete) and use your own vet rather than our local Snip Clinic for these services, you do so at your own expense and it will not reduce the adoption fee. Adoption fees are NON NEGOTIABLE.1.) All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen.2.) You will be notified by adoption coordinator if your application is approved. Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation.3.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up.4.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet.5.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead.6.) Adoption fees can be paid with Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal and credit Card.Screven County Spay & Neuter Corp.SYLVANIA, GA ##2737966##

Story
Scared at first. He warms up when he feels safe  Reginald is looking for a soft place to land. This sweet Cocker Spaniel weighs just 29 lbs and is estimated to be around 5–6 years old. He was found as a stray in Clayton County with severely matted fur, and while we don't know his story, it's clear he's been through a lot. He is heartworm positive and begantreatmentJune 1st. What he needs most is a quiet, patient home where he can decompress, feel safe, and learn to trust again. A gentle heart, a calm environment, and a little patience could change his life forever. Interested in adopting Reginald? Complete the application Only 18 pounds but can fear snap in the beginning so no small children  ##2727262##
