Story
Pickles, a 3 year old, 15 lb Cocker Spaniel mix, is pure charm wrapped in soft ears and a constantly wagging tail. She is friendly, affectionate, and happiest when she is close to her people. She truly loves being near you and will gladly follow you from room to room, earning her well deserved Velcro dog title. She has a fun, energetic personality and a curious zest for life that makes everyday moments more entertaining. Toys are her love language, fetch is one of her favorite games, and interactive playtime is where she really shines. She enjoys long walks and walks nicely on leash, but she is also thrilled to run and explore in a fenced yard. She does great with people and happily accepts pets from strangers while out on walks. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. She can occasionally get a little excited and end up in their space, but she responds well to cues and adjusts quickly. She is eager to please and very food motivated, which makes training easy and enjoyable. She has never met a treat she did not love and will happily work for snacks and praise. She is still polishing her house training skills, but with consistent potty breaks every four to five hours, she is catching on well. One of her funniest quirks is her ability to fall asleep absolutely anywhere. Bathroom floor, no problem. Laundry room, sure why not? She loves to sleep on her back and is always down for a good belly rub. If a door stands between her and her people, she simply pushes it open with her nose and carries on. At the end of the day, she is a loyal, sweet, easygoing girl who prefers to sleep with her humans but is also perfectly comfortable resting in her crate. She brings warmth, laughter, and constant companionship into the home. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $400, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, dental cleaning, spay, and heartworm testing.

While they have been cared for, their life has been very different from that of a typical household pet. These dogs have lived primarily in kennel or pen environments and are not potty trained. They do not walk on a leash and will need to learn basic household routines from the beginning. Because of this, they are timid and shy around people but have very sweet and gentle personalities. Breeder dogs are different from dogs that have lived in a home their entire lives. They require patience, consistency, and time to adjust. Progress may be slow at first, but with structure and kindness, they can continue to gain confidence and trust. This dog will need help with house training, crate training, leash training, and general socialization. A calm and understanding home is essential. They don't understand basic household items such as mirrors, doorways, ceiling fans, televisions etc. ##2630045##

Story
Meet Kathy: A Sweet,14-year-old, Cocker Spaniel Mix  At a perfect 22 pounds, this lovely senior is the picture of graceful aging - outgoing yet wonderfully calm, with a friendly wag and a bright sparkle in her eyes.   Kathy is a true gem for easy, peaceful companionship. She's crate-trained, handles alone time beautifully (no barking, chewing, or worry), and is making great progress on her potty training. She also walks nicely on a leash - perfect for short leisurely strolls.   She adores people of all ages, from men and women to young children and grandparents, and she gets along splendidly with small dogs. She's not one for constant cuddles, but her affectionate presence and happy demeanor bring warmth without demanding it.   In her golden years, Kathy dreams of a single-level home with no stairs (or just a few) where she can wander about comfortably and enjoy the simple pleasures of life by your side.    This resilient little lady has so much love left to give. Could your home be the forever haven she's been waiting for?   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
