This low-key boy has a calm, easygoing personality and would fit perfectly into a relaxed home environment. While he may be timid at first in new places or with new people, Cooper truly shines when given time, consistency, and slow introductions.<br/>He is not the kind of dog who rushes into everything right away, but watching him slowly settle in and grow more comfortable is incredibly rewarding. Cooper enjoys simply being near his people, often following them from room to room or relaxing close by. Even when invited onto the furniture, he usually prefers lounging near the front window or stretching out on the floor nearby where he can quietly keep you company.<br/><br/>Cooper does best with gentle handling and patient humans who understand that trust takes time. He has done well living with both dogs and cats and would likely enjoy a calm canine companion. While he has not shown much interest in toys or treats yet, his personality continues to blossom more each day.<br/><br/>Because of his sensitive nature, Cooper would do best in a home with older kids who can respect his space and allow him to settle in comfortably.
