Hi there! My name is Wells, and if you're looking for a happy, affectionate best friend who's always ready for fun, I think we should meet. 💙I'm a 25-pound Cocker Spaniel with a big personality and an even bigger heart. My favorite thing in the world is being with my people. If you adopt me, don't be surprised if I become your shadow—I love following my humans from room to room just to see what they're up to and make sure I don't miss out on any of the action.Now, let's talk about my greatest passion in life: TOYS. 🎾 Especially balls! I could play fetch for hours if you'll keep throwing. Seriously, I never seem to get tired of chasing, retrieving, and bringing my favorite ball right back to your feet. Because my toys and meals are extra special to me, I prefer to enjoy them without other dogs getting involved. I get along well with other pups, but I do best with people who understand that I like my treasures to stay mine.At bedtime, I'm an easy roommate. I sleep soundly through the night in my crate like a champ. During the day, though, I'd much rather be hanging out with you. I'm housebroken and doing great, although I'm still polishing up a few manners. With a consistent routine and a little guidance, I'll have that mastered in no time.I'm also working on my leash skills. Walks are exciting, and sometimes I forget that we're supposed to walk together instead of me charging ahead. I'll need a patient family willing to help me keep practicing.One thing you should know: I'm not much of a barker. I usually keep things pretty quiet, but if I need something important—like help getting my ball from under the couch—I'll politely let you know.I love meeting new people and making friends wherever I go.
