I’m a 9-month-old cocker spaniel with movie-star looks and a heart that’s still learning humans can be pretty great. I didn’t have the easiest start in life, so new people can feel a little scary at first. But with patience, gentle pets, and a little time, I’m starting to figure out that snuggles are actually amazing. Other dogs are my favorite — I love having a dog buddy to play with and help me feel brave. My foster mom says I’m such a sweet boy and honestly… she might be onto something. I’m still a little unsure around smaller humans, so older, considerate kids would be the best fit for me while I keep building confidence. I’m learning more every day and doing so well! She may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, her goofy, wiggly cocker side comes out in full force. Around her people, she’s all smiles, happy dances, and “please never leave me” energy. She’s happiest snuggled as close as possible — preferably on your pillow. She loves bones, is starting to discover toys, and recently joined the pack zoomies after deciding tossed toys might actually be fun. She’s learning that other dogs can be friends too and would do best with a patient dog buddy. She’s still working on potty training and confidence out in the world, but every day she gets a little braver. She’s also met a toddler and handled it like a gentle little lady. Her dream home? It’s clear Daisy spent most of her life confined to a kennel or small space with very little human affection, and now she’s learning — step by step — that she deserves so much more than simply being used to have puppies. She’s discovering what it means to feel safe, cared for, and truly loved for the very first time. Daisy is shy and cautious at first, but beneath that timid exterior is a dog who desperately wants connection. She has started climbing onto the bed beside her foster family and will quietly inch her way within arm’s reach for gentle pets, though she still avoids eye contact while she builds confidence. The sweetest part? The moment you stop petting her, she scoots just a little closer, silently asking for more. She’s also beginning to discover how to simply be a dog. Daisy watches her foster siblings carefully and has started sneaking toys away to investigate when she thinks nobody is watching. She enjoys turkey tendon chews, carrots, lick mats, and just about any treat you leave for her in a quiet, safe spot. She’s never pushy for attention or food and would much rather hang back and observe until she feels comfortable. Daisy is crate trained, does very well in her kennel, and knows commands like “outside” and “kennel/crate.” She’s making great progress with potty training when kept on a consistent schedule. She is still learning leash skills, but because she is easily frightened and remains a flight risk, a secure fenced yard will be required for her safety. Loud noises, thunderstorms, and overwhelming commotion can still be very scary for Daisy, so she would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands healing takes time. She greatly prefers the company of female dogs (who can blame her after all those years of breeding) and simply asks another confident canine companion (who won’t give off baby making vibes) in her forever home to help continue showing her the world is a safe place. This handsome boy is equal parts playful entertainer and loving cuddle buddy, and he’s always ready to bring a little extra joy (and a lot of personality) into your home. Rio is full of life and absolutely loves to play. Whether he’s tossing around a chew toy, inviting you into a game of chase, or proudly grabbing a toy to show off when guests arrive, he keeps things fun and lively. He has a hilarious habit of snagging toys just so you’ll chase him—it’s all part of his charm! He’s also picked up some adorable behaviors from his foster siblings, like “dancing” with excitement at mealtime and greeting people at the door with a toy in his mouth. When he’s not being his goofy self, Rio is all about the snuggles. He loves to cuddle, enjoys being brushed, and will happily melt into you for a good bum scratch (his favorite!). He also enjoys spending time outside, sniffing and exploring—so a fenced yard would be a dream for him, though he’d also do well with regular walks and time to explore. Rio is a smart boy who already knows a variety of commands, including “sit,” “go lay down,” “kennel,” “outside,” “go potty,” and “quiet.” He’s eager to engage and quick to learn, especially when there’s fun (or treats!) involved. In his foster home, Rio has shown some resource guarding behaviors around other dogs during or just after feeding time. This has improved significantly as he’s settled in, but it’s something his future home should be aware of and continue to manage appropriately. He has a bit of a “leader” personality and likes to be in charge, so he would do best with experienced owners who can provide structure and guidance. She’s friendly and outgoing at home, and while she may start off a little cautious in new places, she warms up quickly—especially if treats are involved. She is extremely food motivated and will happily demonstrate her “sit,” “come,” “shake,” and “outside” skills in exchange for snacks. She’s partially blind in her right eye, which gives her a bit of mysterious pirate‑princess energy, and may explain why she’s not a fan of chaotic environments or overly enthusiastic dogs. Big, bouncy dogs? Hard pass. Bossy little female dogs? Also no thank you. Calm senior pups? Absolutely—she’ll happily share space with the chill crowd. Lady came to us with 30% vision in her right eye due to juvenile cataracts because of this she will be more prone to glaucoma in that eye and will need annual eye check ups. Lady loves small squeaky toys, stuffies, and anything that makes noise when she pounces on it. She’s slightly active with a moderate energy level, meaning she’s always up for a walk, a car ride, or running errands, but she’s equally thrilled to curl up next to you and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. She’s a world‑class snuggler and will happily join you on the couch or in a chair, molding herself into whatever shape is required for maximum coziness. She’s potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and prefers a fenced yard because she’s not consistent about going potty on leash. She can be a bit barky in the crate at first, but she settles with time.
